"We stayed a relaxing warm week in a well-appointed clean house located near everything. The kids loved the heated pool and being able to watch rented DVDs on the surround sound at night after sunsets. Grilled steak n shrimp, cold drinks, the pool, the beach, the sun, the bikes, and even the fresh donuts (key lime was a big hit) from the local 7-11 made this a great trip. The owner was FANTASTIC to work with -even on short notice- and with any questions we had once there. We will rent this again - if available. Shhhhh!!"

"We are two couples in our 60's who spent a week at Tom's condo. The complex is quite nice. It includes a heated pool and tennis courts. There is an elevator to the 6th floor. Our parking spot was in a covered garage which was great in the hot weather. We had no rain and the daytime temps were between 74 and 80. Evenings were in the mid 60's. The condo was very attractive with both bedrooms having their own bathroom. There are three televisions including a larger one in the main living area. The feature we enjoyed the most was the large balcony facing the ocean. There was room for all 4 of us to enjoy breakfast. We watched beautiful sunsets , dolphins , pelicans diving for fish , boats , and the ocean. The master bedroom has a direct access to the balcony. The kitchen had everything we needed for breakfast. There were numerous restaurants nearby that were reasonably priced and had good food. We liked Nelles , Ciao Bella and Speakeasy. There is a farmers market on Wednesday mornings with crafts and international food booths. Everything was excellent. We took a boat trip to Key West one day. I would recommend staying overnight if possible. the Earnest Hemmingway House and the Truman presidential summer house were both interesting. We ate at Hemingway's favorite bar , Sloppy Joes, and had great bar food. If you are only there for the day skip the couch train ride that the ship offers. Take one of the bike taxi tours and get away from the touristy center which reminded us of myrtle beach/gatlinburg shops.A great winter break. I was knee deep shoveling snow the day after we got back.I do not think you could ever be disappointed with this condo. It has everything you might need."

"I also stayed in this unit in Sept. of 2012. I absolutely LOVED Marco Island! Our unit was very clean and comfortable. We loved the pool and the beach and how close of a walk it was. We didn't hear any outside noise, wifi and cable worked fine. A coffee table full of info on Marco Island was very helpful :) I'd definitely stay again! Only suggestions would be a new couch, maybe a little larger but with a much more comfortable mattress! Also a TV in the bedroom. We wanted to watch TV, and our only option was to lay on the uncomfortable couch/bed to watch it."

"This house is perfect for busy people who wish to SLOW down and take in all that Marco Island has to offer without having to deal with the crowds and the hotel experience. I have travelled to Marco for over 20 years and this was my first time renting a private home on the island. Most times were hotel, condos or with family.
Our family of four (consisting of Mom, Dad and teen boys) needed a place that we would have plenty to do or nothing at all. This house meets all of those needs. The floor plan is ideal for privacy- Master on one side with private bath- then two well appointed rooms on the other side of the house with a shared bathroom. We could spread out with the pool area, read on the dock and sunbath- swim and just "chill". We also had access to great ride bikes in the garage to take a spin around the neighborhood and the boys lived for the ping pong table. The kitchen was perfect for the week and we were shocked at the amount of dishes, cutlery and serving dishes--fully stocked. The view out back is great- We ate every meal poolside overlooking the water. It was fun to fish in the evening or play a few games. The beach was a quick trip and accessible. Also close by were food stores, Walgreens and a great selection of restaurants and other amenities.
When we wanted the really active scene we cruised over to the Marriott for the Tiki Bar and live music and the boys took in the beach -- great to retreat again and spread out back at our own place. Everything was clean, organized and comfortable. The wi-fi worked great and everyone was thrilled with that; and my husband was able to work on his lap top (when he wanted to ) all while sitting poolside and watching his football games. The sliding glass doors disappear into the wall in both rooms which opens up the inside to the outside - all while screened in- this is truly the perfect island house. It's quiet and peaceful which makes sleeping great! We were able to open the windows and enjoyed the rustle of the palm trees.
The best part of the entire trip was the ability for our family to slow down, come together, relax and reconnect. I can't wait to come back again."
