  • Wonderful vacation

"This condo had everything we needed. I enjoyed drinking my coffee in the morning on the lanai and drinking wine at night. We saw dolphins everyday. True relaxation! I would highly recommend this condo. Alberta is great to deal with."

"Jane and Richard were helpful and the process of hiring their Villa was simple. The property is well maintained, clean and included everything we needed. We had a very enjoyable stay. Marco Island is a wonderful place to visit Beaches are great as are the numerous restaurants and bars. Excellent for trips to Everglades, Air boat rides, Shopping in Naples, would recommend Capt. Rons Waverunner Adventure and hiring a boat for a day from the Local marina."

  • Should be 4.5 stars, as described and in a good location

"I would rate it 4.5 but that was not possible. Our family of 10, 6 adults and 4 kids recently stayed here for a week and decided on this house while looking through many in Marco Island. Working with the owner was great, he was very responsive during the reservation period and made it a smooth process. During the stay he was just as quick to respond when we had an issue with the spa after the pool cleaners came. They mistakenly forgot to turn a valve back on and the owner was quick to get them on the phone, they weren't able to come out the same day so that was unfortunate but I can't fault the owner for the companies issue with resetting the spa up after cleaning it. Overall the property was pretty well maintained, no major issues with mosquitoes outside thanks to the spray system in place. The pool was very nice and the perfect size with a good view of manatees in the channel. The house has everything you need, pack and play for a baby/toddler, all the beach stuff, several grills, tvs everywhere, large kitchen for cooking big meals, two extra small fridges for beverages. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms in the master and upstairs were huge. Plenty of room for everyone and has a nice kitchen/dining layout for family meals. To get to Tigertail beach it is just a shortwalk, but if you want to get to the actual Gulf beach be prepared for a little bit of a hike as it's almost a half mile to past the pond and down the sand to the ocean which is a really nice beach. The house does have some signs of wear and since this is a rental that is to be expected, but assuming most of the paint damage and issues were caused by renters it's sad that people have a general lack of concern or care for someone else's property. The cleaning prior to arrival could probably be improved, maybe the cleaning company just needs to be made aware but the tile floors weren't very clean and some of the showers had hair in the drains still. We did check arrange with the owner to show up a few hours early so maybe that was part of the cause. I would definitely recommend Mango's Dockside Bistro to eat at, delicious everything and not too far down the street! Overall it was an excellent stay and we thoroughly enjoyed the house. If we go to Marco Island again this house will definitely be at the top of the list."

Eating Out Redefined at Marco Island Beach Rentals

Marco Island beach rentals are close to everything on the island, including dining. There are two restaurants in the area, including a waterfront bar that is absolutely relaxing and inviting to watch the sunset. If your taste is for the local favorites, go to CJ's on the Bay where the food is not only amazing, but strikingly close to homemade. The restaurant serves everything from seafood favorites like shrimp, bass, and eel to chicken fingers. For a more traditional-style dinner, you'll love the version of 'medium well' at Tara Steak and Lobster House. Special seasonings and a bit of island flair make this a favorite for people staying at Esplanade condos.
