  • Late April Vacation

"I rented this property as a birthday present for my wife, I invited her two sisters and their husbands', her Cousin, my 3 adult children and my three grandchildren. Our ages ranged from 71 to 15months. We all agreed it was one of the best vacations we ever spend, my wife said it was the best birthday present she ever had. The house was lovely the beach was a short walk away and we were able to find a number or restaurants to accommodate this large and diverse crowd, along with having plenty of space and well appointed kitchen to cook meals along with the grill by the pool (both of which we took advantage of). Everyone was able to find a location to "do their own thing" if they wanted, or to join in the group. We were all reluctant to leave and all expressed a desire to do this again as soon as we could. I cannot recommend this property highly enough Jim from Boston"

  • Can't wait to go back!

"I SO enjoyed this house for my long weekend getaway with my in-laws in Marco Island last weekend. We had all of the privacy we wanted in a weekend getaway location (it has it's own pool, grill, etc!), but also the luxury of quick access to Tigertail beach and local restaurants and shops. One of my favorite things about this house is that it is so close to Tigertail Beach. So much exciting wildlife to see and activities to do there. I would recommend this house to anyone! I can't wait to go back."

"Never been to Marco island before but we will be back! We really enjoyed the house and Marco island! We spent most of our time in the lanai which was so relaxing! Just hearing the water run from the hot tub to the pool and looking out into the canal was just refreshing! The house was in super condition and very beautiful! Just what the pictures showed. We will definitely be returning to this house!"

  • Super House

"My wife and I stayed for 6 weeks over Christmas and New Year and were very sad to return home. The house is very spacious, furnished well in a comfortable, modern style and was spotless. The lanai is a great space and most of our meals were eaten outside even on Christmas Day! The pool seemed a little small but constrained by available space, so is narrow but long enough and deep enough for swimming. Access was easy for my wife, who has limited mobility. The house is well equipped in the kitchen, has plenty of bedding and towels, an excellent barbeque, and good HD TVs with digital recording capability. The house is central in Marco, handy to walk to the main shopping plaza and excellent farmers' market (every Wednesday). Though situated on a main road, the traffic noise was not obtrusive. The patio at the rear is quite private and not overlooked, though there are other houses backing on to the canal. Marco is a very quiet area, with quite strict noise regulations so if you have children, they will need a volume control! Great for us though. We found the rates for this house competitive against others in the region, particularly as tax and pool heating was included. Marco Island is a great holiday destination for house renters. Although it is completely developed, it is quiet with relatively low traffic levels, so getting to the many restaurants and shops is easy. Access to the super beach is restricted to a couple of access points (with $8 per day parking) and, with hindsight, we should have paid the $140 fee for a permit for the Residents' Beach (available with photo ID to anyone staying more than 1 month). However, Marco is also a great centre for boat trips (or rent your own), to visit wild life in the Everglades, shops, restaurants and beaches at Naples and Sanibel Island, and we even made a couple of trips up to Sarasota where the Ringling Museum was a must-see. Overall, we had a super time and happily recommend it."
