  • Great Vacation Rental

"This was a great vacation rental! We wanted a mix of relaxation and fun on Marco Island for a week and that's exactly what we got. Whether grilling by the pool, sun tanning, fishing from the dock, or walking to all of the shops and restaurants close by, this home was a perfect base. We also enjoyed the nearby beaches and water activities of Marco Island and the surrounding area. The house is well equipped and everything you see in the ads is what we found when we arrived. The owner was very nice and responsive. We're already looking toward our next visit and will definitely rent this home again."

  • Super House

"My wife and I stayed for 6 weeks over Christmas and New Year and were very sad to return home. The house is very spacious, furnished well in a comfortable, modern style and was spotless. The lanai is a great space and most of our meals were eaten outside even on Christmas Day! The pool seemed a little small but constrained by available space, so is narrow but long enough and deep enough for swimming. Access was easy for my wife, who has limited mobility. The house is well equipped in the kitchen, has plenty of bedding and towels, an excellent barbeque, and good HD TVs with digital recording capability. The house is central in Marco, handy to walk to the main shopping plaza and excellent farmers' market (every Wednesday). Though situated on a main road, the traffic noise was not obtrusive. The patio at the rear is quite private and not overlooked, though there are other houses backing on to the canal. Marco is a very quiet area, with quite strict noise regulations so if you have children, they will need a volume control! Great for us though. We found the rates for this house competitive against others in the region, particularly as tax and pool heating was included. Marco Island is a great holiday destination for house renters. Although it is completely developed, it is quiet with relatively low traffic levels, so getting to the many restaurants and shops is easy. Access to the super beach is restricted to a couple of access points (with $8 per day parking) and, with hindsight, we should have paid the $140 fee for a permit for the Residents' Beach (available with photo ID to anyone staying more than 1 month). However, Marco is also a great centre for boat trips (or rent your own), to visit wild life in the Everglades, shops, restaurants and beaches at Naples and Sanibel Island, and we even made a couple of trips up to Sarasota where the Ringling Museum was a must-see. Overall, we had a super time and happily recommend it."

  • A Great Venue for Family and The Holidays

"We recently returned to the frigid north after a wonderful 2 week stay in your home on Marco Island. It very quickly became "Home" as we got the pool, grill and kitchen just right for us and settled in. Both the indoor area and poolside/dock areas were spacious clean and inviting. The pre-visit document that we received about the house was perfect and and questions we had when we first got there were answered promptly. Our party of 7 adults and a 4 month old had plenty of room for interaction or quiet time with the separate living quarters working out perfectly. Definitely need a car. We highly recommend this home!"

  • Great house with the nicest owner!

"This vacation was MUCH needed for myself and my family! We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and tennis court very much! The weather just so happened to be PERFECT that week, which made it even better. The beach is certainly walking distance, but older folks may prefer to still drive, as there is a small bridge to cross over on the way. On Tigertail Beach we were able to rent SUPs for a reasonable price, and the scenery is spectacular. My sweety and I also went to Rose Marina (5 minutes by car from the house) to go on a charter fishing trip. The bikes in the garage are in good condition, with a wide range of sizes for everyone to enjoy. We especially loved the "neighbors" - the burrowing owls at the end of the block with the million-dollar real estate :) Gerri was SO easy to work with and very accommodating! Our family hopes to get back there next year, if not sooner! Thank you again, Gerri, for everything!"
