"The unit was lovely, beautiful kitchen, master bedroom etc. Very spacious, clean and convenient to restaurants. The only problem we had is the building renovation on other units that was going on the entire week, 2 floors above us. This seems to be the norm at these condos but when you are on vacation, the last thing you want to hear is drilling and banging. Could not even escape it from the pool. We loved the condo if there was some way to avoid the noise from other units being remodeled."

"My wife and I were looking for a special property for our March 2015 "Snowbird" escape from Chicago weather and we hit the jackpot. Steve's Pier 81 penthouse is exceptional!
About Marco: If you are not already sold on Marco, you will be amazed. Compared to Naples: Marco has MUCH less traffic; MUCH younger, vibrant residents; MUCH better beaches; MUCH better restaurants on the water; MANY more fun events (e.g., great farmer’s market every Wednesday, art fairs every weekend). Marco also is very water/boat oriented offering MANY more alternatives for boat rentals and charters. (We didn’t know any of this before our vacation but are now big Marco fans…)
Now the condo:
Location: PERFECT -Walk to at least eight fun restaurants. Going north: Marek’s (100 yds away in the old Collier house), Café de Marco (Don’t miss the HUGE butterflied shrimp), Bistro Soliel (great French), Petite Soliel (great breakfast/brunch), and finally the famous Snook Inn (see and be seen in the classic Marco hang-out with live music every night). Going south: Arturo’s (Italian); The tiki hut at Rose Marina (lobster); Porky’s (live music every night); more if you keep walking. In addition, the island is small and easy to get around so some restaurants will pick you up and take you home.
The view: SPECTACULAR - A photographer’s dream. Every morning we were up at sunrise on the east balcony, camera on tripod, coffee in hand, taking SPECTACULAR pictures of the sun rising over the Marco bridge with the golden glow reflecting from the water in the bay below. Every evening we sat on the west balcony, camera on tripod, wine glass in hand, taking SPECTACULAR pictures as the sun set over the Gulf of Mexico. Best of all, on the week of the full moon, every night we sat on the east balcony, camera on tripod, after dinner beverage in hand, taking SPECTACULAR pictures of the golden glow of the moon rising over the Marco bridge and moonlight shimmering on the bay as the Marco Island Princess dinner boat cruised the waters. We have equally SPECTACULAR pictures of the HUGE pelicans that frequently fly 4 ft from the balcony railing and the beautiful Osprey as they fly in the same airspace.
Furnishings: ELEGANT AND COMFORTABLE -Everything we needed to make our vacation special.
The condo: HUGE -The master bedroom is giant and the master bath is literally larger than entire condos we have rented in the past.
The Owner: Steve is a great guy and genuinely cared about us.

"Just returned from another wonderful week at this beautiful beachfront condo. As always, Eloise and Richard are great to deal with. The condo has everything you could possibly need to enjoy your time at the beach. We did have an issue with the microwave not working, but after a quick email to Eloise, a new microwave was ordered and installed. The pool is wonderful and clean. The view from the balcony was the perfect place to view the 4th of July fireworks. There is a nice selection of local restaurants where you never have to eat at a chain restaurant. Of course, if you prefer cooking the kitchen is well equipped for a dinner at the condo. It was the perfect stress free vacation."

"We stayed in this unit on our girls beach trip last month. The unit is beautiful and the views of the 10,000 Islands are breathtaking. We loved having the pools to ourselves and the privacy this property provided. We were looking for a quiet retreat and it met all our needs. I hope to stay there again!"
