"We stayed in the condo for the first two weeks of February 2015 after spending the prior month in Key West. What a difference in locales, but the condo was fine, and it met all of our expectations for a temporary vacation place. The location on the beach overlooking the Gulf and the beach is the prime attraction, I believe, and the amenities at South Seas was great with a heated large pool, a gym, tennis courts, a putting green, and bike storage and car wash areas. You could also walk to a few restaurants outside the complex.
As a retired federal law enforcement officer, I was bothered by what I felt was "over the top" security measures at South Seas. Yes I can see the need for a gated community with a guard running the gate, but once inside the complex, I did not see the need for all the keys, such as to the gym, to get to and return from the beach, to get into the building from the pool and garage (but not during business hours), and the registering of guests who stay overnight(with a $10 parking fee). I guess these security measures are a good marketing strategy for the Midwest senior citizens who seem to be the majority of persons at South Seas and in Marco, but I live and work in a big city, and I think this was a little too much. But hey! I survived, which shows to go you that the measures worked!
The highlight of our stay was the cooperation of Ashok. What a delight! I am a golfer and Ashok was able to get me and guests onto his executive course, which was located close to the condo, on Marco. Kudos! Kudos!
Just based on that, I would definitely return for another stay at the condo.
Good job Ashok!"
