  • Great time in Marco!

"Had a wonderful time on Marco Island. Beautiful penthouse condo with beautiful views. Great restaurants..our favorites were DaVinci's and Fin Bistro but be sure to make a reservation the week before your trip and request to eat outside at DaVinci's. We also tried Stilts and Snook Inn but the food was just okay...although beautiful setting for both! Enjoyed CJ's at the Esplanade for a drink and some ColdStone ice cream. The beach was spectacular and perfect for long walks in the morning. Yoga classes were held on the beach in the early evening. The highlight of our trip was the rental of a pontoon boat...reasonably priced and a great time cruising to Naples and having lunch at Pinchers Crab Shack! My only complaint was having to share two keys between four people...you need a key to get in and out to the beach, and a key to get into both the building and the unit (just made it difficult to do anything on your own.) Overall, a great time!"

  • Marco Island Marvel!

"Accommodations were exactly as pictured & location couldn't be better. Nestled in a quiet, peaceful exclusive neighbourhood but convenient location to anything and everything you would want in Marco Island & Naples. Hosts ensured we had everything we needed & our guest house setting was private so we could enjoy the R & R we came for. Sweet courtyard pool to lounge by or enjoy a morning coffee or evening glass of wine or swim if you so chose. The boat dock was equally as quiet & peaceful in a beautiful setting & only manatees lazily basking in the sun were our company. The property is well maintained and there are even banana trees & orange trees ~ all bearing fruit! Comfortable cruising bicycles were also available & were a wonderful way to take in the island's neighbourhoods & canal streets with a gorgeous home & beautiful view around every corner. We encountered the occasional gopher turtles & burrowing owls on these biking adventures too. We are exploring future retirement ideas & I have to tell you ~ this area doesn't get much better. Thank you to Judy & Paul, who went way above & beyond welcoming us & sharing local information on the area for restaurants & interesting sight seeing adventures but also gave us the feeling we were the sole owners of the property for the week."

  • short walk to the private beach :)

"I also stayed in this unit in Sept. of 2012. I absolutely LOVED Marco Island! Our unit was very clean and comfortable. We loved the pool and the beach and how close of a walk it was. We didn't hear any outside noise, wifi and cable worked fine. A coffee table full of info on Marco Island was very helpful :) I'd definitely stay again! Only suggestions would be a new couch, maybe a little larger but with a much more comfortable mattress! Also a TV in the bedroom. We wanted to watch TV, and our only option was to lay on the uncomfortable couch/bed to watch it."

  • Great access to pristine beach across street

"First time to Marco Island and did not realize there were so few beach access points with parking. This updated one bedroom condo was directly across from the beach - about a 3 minute walk. Being from Ct we have never experienced the immense white powdery sand that was a pleasure to take our daily 3 mile walks on. The owner Bob was a pleasure to work with. He sent us a package of information on Marco Island for activities like kayaking, dolphin watching, tennis and golf. Golfers be aware there are two golf courses on the island but both are private. But Naples is only half hour away has an abundance of public courses. As for tennis, the condo has a court and there is also the Marco Island Public Tennis courts with clay that is free after 1 pm. My husband and I also enjoyed the heated pool 92 at degrees. Although there isn't a patio with this unit directly under the unit is a shaded patio area near the pool where we had our lunches. We also used this area to sort and dry our collection of shells from our daily walks on the beach. This complex is well cared for with daily maintenance and landscaping that was evident. We certainly would rent this condo again on our next trip to Marco Island."
