  • Fantastic place-- close to the beach

"House is very nice and has a nice updated kitchen. The house is very nicely decorated with Mary Ellen's artwork. On this trip, we only had two adults and one 11 year old. We had tons of space. This house can easily accommodate 6-8 (using the couches to sleep). Bedrooms were comfortable and there were plenty of hangers and dresser space for clothes. Kitchen is very well stocked. We cooked in the kitchen every day-- except our day of arrival. It's always harder to cook in someone else's kitchen-- when you are used to your own. My advice is to bring a few of your "must haves" if you are able to-- particularly when driving. When we drive, I usually bring a few things that I'll want to have in the kitchen. This time, I brought (1) Espresso Coffee Machine, (2) Foreman Grill, and (3) a pot for making popcorn on the stove (so I didn't risk burning one of the house pots). We found the house to be a great balance of budget and location. It is cheaper than some places you'll find that are right on the beach. For the better price, you get being close to the beach-- instead of on the beach. The beach is 3/4 miles to the actual water. It's about a 10 minute walk to the public beach entrance (right next to entrance to Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park). It is a 2 minute drive to the beach. I recommend driving if you have gear. There is really no free parking at the public beach entrance. There is plenty of parking at the Delnor-Wiggins park for $6/day). The beaches were very nice / convenient. On one day, we ventured to Vanderbilt beach-- which is about a 10 minute drive to parking garage ($8 / day) followed by a 5 minute walk. Vanderbilt has a wider beach than Delnor-Wiggins pass and is more crowded. Both beaches are clean, well-maintained, with good facilities. I recommend researching both parks on the internet for additional details. Mary Ellen is extremely accommodating and easy to work with. You can't rent from a better owner. She obviously cares that her renters have a great experience. There are some basic, common-sense house rules that are easy to follow. The main rules were to keep sand out of the house and be careful with oil on the granite countertops. (Both of these you would do at your own house). We found the rules easy to follow. For sand, we always entered through the garage to drop off gear Then, we showed in the outdoor shower at the side of the house to rinse off any remaining sand."

  • Winter get away

"Fantastic rental. My wife and I spent the month of January at Andrew’s home and had a great experience. The home is well equipment and the location can’t be beat. A short drive to Marco Island or to downtown Naples. The Players Club has everything you could ask for. The hot tub was a great way to relax after a day on the links. It was everything we hoped for and more. Thanks Andrew!!"

  • awesome as always!!

"I have rented this particular condo many times. It is my favorite for several reasons. The owner is easy to deal with, the unit is well appointed , the view is incredible and the fact that it is an end unit gives me { a women traveler} safety comfort as no windows face the hall way, plus theres extra breeze on the lanai due to the corner screen. There is also a ceiling fan on the lanai, nice for if you stay in the warmer months not all units have one. You don't have to pack up your whole group to "go" to the beach, it is an easy walk, every one can come and go as they please, beach, two pools, and at least 5 wonderful restaurants. I enjoy cooking/grilling about half the time and dine out 1/2. Could get by without a car if you simple came for the beach and meals out, or could rent a bike for minimal groceries. However I always rent a car cuz I have places I like to go, to the pier, loads of shopping , other further off restaurants, maybe a trip to Marco island. Dont hesitate to book this unit , just not when I want to be there hahaha."
