  • Perfect, Immaculate, Charming, Quiet, Great Location

"This property, The Palm Cottage, was perfect for what we needed for our month stay in Old Naples. The cottage's location (ONLY 2 blocks from the beach and 10 blocks from center of town) allowed us to explore the neighborhood by foot, bike and car with so much ease and comfort. The neighborhood is gorgeous and quiet. The cottage is beautifully appointed, cozy and has everything you will need for an either short or extended stay. The house has a fenced in yard which was perfect for our dog to run and play in. The owner was a pleasure to work with. He went above and beyond to accomdate all of our needs and requests. We would rent the cottage again in a minute. I actually would give this house "six stars", it was beyond excellent!!! Don't miss your chance to stay at the Palm Cottage, you will love it."

  • A gem!

"This cottage was tastefully restored and utterly charming. It was unusual to find a rental cottage furnished to such a high standard – beautiful sinks and fixtures in keeping with the cottage period. At the same time, it had all the modern conveniences: wifi, incredibly comfortable memory foam beds, Apple television (I didn’t even know what that was, but one of our party from Germany was excited to be able to watch a couple episodes of the latest season of House of Cards not yet available in Germany), a Keurig coffee maker with a reusable K cup so you could make a good cup of coffee with your own coffee, a wonderful shower. The “vintage” kitchen was well stocked with all the kitchenware you would need to cook. Everything was spotless. The outdoor area is beautifully landscaped as well, with a delightful outdoor “kitchen” which I wish we had time to use. I loved getting up early to listen to the birds in the garden, and I loved all the old bird prints throughout the house. With a bookshelf of books and beautiful old prints throughout, the cottage had real personality and was a far cry from the bland condos that are more typically available to rent in the area. It reminded me of a little Cape Cod cottage (is the owner from Massachusetts?) similar to one in our family, but much more beautifully restored! This was a real find! If you want a condo right on the beach or with a swimming pool, or you want to be right downtown, this would not be the place for you, but if you are looking for a charming and tranquil cottage to enjoy in close proximity to all that Naples has to offer, this could be perfect. We were unfortunately here for only a few days and so didn’t get to see a great deal of Naples, but found the cottage to be a great base for a quick exploration of the Everglades, which was very beautiful! Tom was very responsive to our queries about booking, inquired after us to make sure we checked in OK, and booking and check-in was seamless. All in all, a wonderful experience. Wished we could have stayed longer."

  • Our Wonderful Home from Home in Old Naples

"This is our 6th visit to this fabulous property in 5 years. We love it. The location is perfect, the house is beautiful and has so much character, the gardens and pool are stunning and it is exceptionally good value for money. If you are coming to Old Naples for a vacation - this is definitely the house to come to. We would not consider staying anywhere else and have already booked for 2015!"

  • Fun in the sun

"I loved taking a break from the cold for once and naples is definitley the place to do it! The beaches are relaxing and not crowded like Miami! Also the house is so close to the beach and the downtown area. The house was very clean and put together, and we loved the basket they left us upon arrival (: can't wait to come again."
