"Resort and condo were both very nice. This would get a 5 star rating except that upon checking out we were hit with a $342. bill from the resort. The VRBO site for this property listed under Fees the cleaning plus 10% tax rate. Nothing about resort fees. I checked other listings on VRBO and each of them specified under 'Fees' any resort fees applicable. The owner has failed to respond to emails or voice mails regarding this."Guest: Pauline M. "We loved the house. Clean house, nice neighborhood, and just the right space. The pool is a plus. Although it's not on the beach- it was close to several different good close, beach locations, which was a nice variety. Lots to do, especially if you like exploring the area. The owner was great to work with and reliable. Would totally stay again- perfect for what we needed for a week get-a-away."Guest: Megan W. "We rented this condo for a month in July. We are a family with two toddlers. The condo was clean and comfortable. We loved every minute. The furniture was clean and well done. The kitchen was fully stocked. The linens were stocked (clean and fairly new) as well. The condo overlooked the golf course. From the lanai, we watched the fountains in the back glow at night. The development is a gated community- very safe. Neighbors were friendly and kind. My kids made some great friends while there. There was a residents' pool close enough to walk to daily. That was great for the baby because it has a large shallow portion connected to the main pool. There were clean bathrooms, a small clubhouse, and a grill at this pool. The main clubhouse had a playground, ample seating, bathrooms, screened lanais, umbrellas, and poolside food/drink service. The location for development is very central to awesome SW Florida attractions. I75 is very close, and Rt 41 is only a few miles away. Fun and Sun Lagoon, C'Mon Children's Museum, Delnor Wiggins State Park, Lowdermilk Park, Caribbean Gardens/Naples Zoo, Barefoot Beach, 5th Ave, 3rd Ave, Naples Pier and City Dock, Tin City, Venetian Village, Mercato, Gulf Coast Town Center, Miromar Outlets, Coastland Center Mall, Coconut Point, Fort Myers Beach, Bonita Springs, Regional Southwest Airport. . . were all close drives from this central location. In addition, there is a Publix Supermarket, a giant Walmart, and a Super Target just outside of the development. It does not get any more convenient. Yet, you'd never know these stores are so close because the country club setting in The Strand is so serene and residential. The owner and the house manager were friendly and responsive. We hated to leave. Everything was so beautiful. We would stay again for sure."Guest: Dana Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 3, 2014View listing
"Coquina cottage is steps from the beach! Loved being so close we spent almost everday there and if we didn't we were out by the pool/hottub! Went with my girlfriends just to relax and have fun and we did just that!"Guest: John r. Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: October 11, 2014View listing
