  • Fantastic place-- close to the beach

"House is very nice and has a nice updated kitchen. The house is very nicely decorated with Mary Ellen's artwork. On this trip, we only had two adults and one 11 year old. We had tons of space. This house can easily accommodate 6-8 (using the couches to sleep). Bedrooms were comfortable and there were plenty of hangers and dresser space for clothes. Kitchen is very well stocked. We cooked in the kitchen every day-- except our day of arrival. It's always harder to cook in someone else's kitchen-- when you are used to your own. My advice is to bring a few of your "must haves" if you are able to-- particularly when driving. When we drive, I usually bring a few things that I'll want to have in the kitchen. This time, I brought (1) Espresso Coffee Machine, (2) Foreman Grill, and (3) a pot for making popcorn on the stove (so I didn't risk burning one of the house pots). We found the house to be a great balance of budget and location. It is cheaper than some places you'll find that are right on the beach. For the better price, you get being close to the beach-- instead of on the beach. The beach is 3/4 miles to the actual water. It's about a 10 minute walk to the public beach entrance (right next to entrance to Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park). It is a 2 minute drive to the beach. I recommend driving if you have gear. There is really no free parking at the public beach entrance. There is plenty of parking at the Delnor-Wiggins park for $6/day). The beaches were very nice / convenient. On one day, we ventured to Vanderbilt beach-- which is about a 10 minute drive to parking garage ($8 / day) followed by a 5 minute walk. Vanderbilt has a wider beach than Delnor-Wiggins pass and is more crowded. Both beaches are clean, well-maintained, with good facilities. I recommend researching both parks on the internet for additional details. Mary Ellen is extremely accommodating and easy to work with. You can't rent from a better owner. She obviously cares that her renters have a great experience. There are some basic, common-sense house rules that are easy to follow. The main rules were to keep sand out of the house and be careful with oil on the granite countertops. (Both of these you would do at your own house). We found the rules easy to follow. For sand, we always entered through the garage to drop off gear Then, we showed in the outdoor shower at the side of the house to rinse off any remaining sand."

  • Our holiday retreat

"The Beach House was indeed, sumptuous, lovely, clean and comfortable. It had a very homely, welcoming atmosphere - unlike many villas we have stayed in where you feel you are staying in someone's 'business', with lots of instructions plastered about. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone wishing to stay in Naples as it was conveniently located to all amenities and the beach was located nearby and attractions such as Tin City were located a short drive away. Thank you, Sandie & Des! :-)"

  • Convenient, Clean, Renovated, Owner Easy to Work With

"This house is great for family use on a Vanderbilt Beach vacation. Home is clean and newly renovated. The owner Pam is very easy to communicate with and quick to respond to all inquiries and concerns. Location is just a short bike ride from public beach access (2 adult beach cruisers / 1 child's bike provided and there is also a bike rental shop 2 miles down the road). The neighborhood is more blue collar /working class in comparison to other areas of Vanderbilt Beach, but the home is nicely landscaped for privacy and the street is very quiet and safe. The pool and kitchen are perfect areas for family entertaining and hanging out. Kitchen is fully stocked for cooking and there are lots of pool toys to keep people of all ages entertained. We will definitely be recommending this house for family and friends."

  • Excellent home away from home

"Palm Villa is an outstanding base from which to explore Naples--close to Vanderbilt Beach, Delnore Wiggins Pass state park, upscale shopping and dining at the Mercado. But you might not want ever to leave the lanai with its great pool and spa. Property is clean, with up to date appliances and furnishings. It's very close to Rt. 41, which leads to convenience in getting around, but sheltered from highway noise. The only sounds we heard were New Year's Eve fireworks. The owner, Mick, lives close by and is friendly, helpful and responsive. We highly recommend this property for a Naples rental. Worth every penny!"

With all the comforts of home, from a full kitchen and laundry facilities to plenty of space to stretch out, you are sure to have a relaxing and easy beach getaway. Your proximity to the beach lets you plan family outings without the hassle of complicated transportation logistics because many vacation rentals are within walking or biking distance to the shore or other fun attractions.

Find Family Friendly Fun in the Sun at Naples Park Condos

When vacationing in Naples, the beach is at the forefront of family-friendly activities. Kids can romp in the sand or play safely in the waves, while parents relax and enjoy the scenery or kick back with a book. Walk miles of coastline, searching for shells and sea creatures with the kids, have sandcastle building contests, or bury each other in the sand. The possibilities are endless when it comes to enjoying Florida beaches.

Vanderbilt Beach Beach Rentals Place You Near the Water

Checking out the boats at the marina and visiting the Naples Fishing Pier are always fun for kids. Older kids will enjoy a deep-sea fishing excursion, where they might have the chance to help catch a big one. Plan a day to go inland to experience nature. With several land preserves in the area, including Everglades National Park and Ten Thousand Islands National Wildlife Refuge, the whole family can enjoy wildlife in its natural habitat. Naples Park vacation rentals are the perfect choice for families on the go, and they can help make your vacation more affordable and worry-free.
