"Wonderful location to be able to walk to all of the shops and restaurants in Matlacha, especially The Perfect Cup (best place for breakfast and lunch). Very clean and well maintained home. A great place to really relax. Owner very helpful when needed. I would recommend this property."

"The owners were provided a lot of information on the area and things to do well in advance of our stay. All of them were excellent recommendations from day trips to restaurants. The home was well equipped with amenities to enjoy whatever trip you may take around Pine Island - fishing, beach enjoyment, kayaking. It was great not having to bother bringing towels, coolers, ice packs, etc. Cayo Costa is a must visit if you are staying on Pine Island or in the surrounding area. Couldn't have asked for a more involved owner. Thanks again!"

"We spent a wonderful week here. Yes, it's a stationary mobile home, but everything is in good shape and kitchen has been completely remodeled with new cabinets, appliances, and flooring (into living room). Kitchen also comes equipped with nearly every tool you could imagine. You enter house through an additional enclosed porch-type area that offers comfortable, casual seating, a second table with chairs, and another TV (plus washer and dryer). Only disappointment was "cable" meant only basic cable, but for longer stays you can upgrade. Located nearly at the tip of St James City, it's a GREAT location if you bring your boat, plus it's quiet with no through traffic. And there are several restaurants/bars at that end of the island, including one that serves breakfast (Sunday breakfast is also served at the VFW -- check our their schedule of events). Owner lives nearby and was readily available when we needed assistance. I would recommend this property to friends and not hesitate to return."

"Pure enjoyment. Matlacha is a quaint quiet town. Our days were spent walking, boating, fishing, swimming, reading and just relaxing. There are many local places to enjoy island entertainment and a meal - especially if you like fresh fish. The sunsets are breathtaking!!! And, to top it all off, Mac is there to help with anything you might need. He truly is the best!"
