"We just spent two wonderful months in this spacious house. We were very happy with the lovely decorator touches, the cleanliness, the very comfortable beds and the complete furnishings. The bed was the most comfortable we have ever found in a rental. The lanai and pool were perfect to enjoy the wonderful weather and view. Sitting on the dock watching Blue Terns fly by and the Snook jumping. The neighborhood is wonderful and a neighbor even stopped his boat and took us out for a sail one day. Punta Gorda Isles is a wonderful community. Very friendly and quiet but close to the very nice town of Punta Gorda, wonderful restaurants and activities. Bob was a very gracious host who was most accommodating to our every wish. We have been using VRBO for several years and this was by far our best experience. Nothing at all negative to say about the house or the community."Guest: Paul R. Date of Stay: January 2014 Review Submitted: March 1, 2014View listing
"The weather was hot, but the breeze was wonderful. It is a very quiet area. Just wish the morning birds would cooperate! Well, it is mating season so there was a lot of vocal activity. I enjoy the fact that the house is on a cul-de-sac. Not much traffic. Near enough to shopping, restaurants, etc. Will be back in the fall. Thank you, Bob & Kathy for sharing your magnificent home once again."Guest: Barb Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: May 17, 2014View listing
"We spent the entire month of April 2014 here, and every single day we felt like we were waking up in Paradise! The condo is beautiful, well-kept, and very comfortable. It's easy to take care of and the owner is great. The sunset views are stunning, every single night, and we saw dolphins and manatee swim through in the canal right in front. The community pool, sauna, steam room, fitness room, community room, theater room, and community in general is truly wonderful. Port Charlotte Harbor is beautiful, and we enjoyed sailing excursions with Jeff (sailingbynature.com), shopping in Punta Gorda & Cape Coral, walking the extensive trails and walkways, and connecting with fun and interesting people. We've loved every moment of our vacation here (including our teenager!)."Guest: Kate S. Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: May 2, 2014View listing
"Your home was the perfect place to stay. Our family, son and daughter with young children had their own space with the 2 master suites and another wing of 2 bedrooms and bath. The pool was an added bonus. We were here to celebrate a 90th birthday and family reunion. We had a mother's day brunch for 23 and had a fully equipped kitchen to cook in. There was plenty of space inside and outside by the pool to accomodate everyone. We all had a wonderful time and wished we had rented the house for a week instead of 4 days."Guest: Mike Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: May 22, 2014View listing
