  • Spring Break 2014

"We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful Punta Gorda home. The location as perfect for teenagers -- basketball courts, walking/jogging trails across the street; restaurants, shops within walking distance as well. The pool was relaxing and we enjoyed sunbathing, swimming, sharing meals and playing cards on the patio. The upstairs boasts a huge open "loft" type area with a large King bed and full bath and also a large sitting area with a sofa sleeper. Just off of this area is another large bedroom with its own private bath. This was perfect for the teenagers! There was a TV in the loft area and in the bedroom. Downstairs was another bedroom with twin beds and access to a full bath. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed -- we just purchased food and beverages and some condiments. There were many beaches within a 20 -30 minute drive and the drive to Siesta Key was only about 45 minutes door to beach. We went on a Monday so there was little traffic en route and at the beach. We would definitely stay here again. The owners were so kind and accommodating!!"

  • Family fun

"It was an amazing week for grandparents and four parents with four under three age children. Several could work in the spacious and well equiped kitchen at the same time. The special fence around the pool, the pool and beach toys, and the play yard allowed the adults to relax while the children entertained themselves. Comfortable beds and an abundance of towels were great. The nearby Ponce de Leon park with a beach, playground and animal hospital/shelter provided additional activities."

  • Absolutely Beautiful!

"We spent a week at this lovely condo and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The property was much more than expected. The views from this place are so peaceful and serene. The condo was very well maintained. All we had to do was bring our personal items. Everything was clean and fresh looking. We had been to Burnt Store many times in years past for our annual family vacation but this was the first time staying here and the best so far. The girls were able to lay by the pool or sit on the porch relaxing while the men went fishing every morning. Afternoons and evenings were family times. A walk for an ice cream cone in the afternoons, dinners at the restaurant nearby on the water, swimming in the pool on the grounds. Everyone we dealt with were very helpful and quick to answer any questions we had. We had a great time and would highly recommend this place to anyone."

  • Wonderful!

"We were fortunate enough to spend 6 weeks in this wonderful house on the Peace River. It was a lovely, peaceful and rejuvenating place to be; and after trips out, it was always a joy to return here at the end of the day. The view from the top deck is very special - especially when there have been storms around. Watching the 'lightning shows' along with the beautiful sunsets was mesmerising. The house itself was well equipped with everything needed, and was very cosy and comfortable. We've stayed in many holiday homes over the years, and this was, without doubt, by far the nicest - in part because it was arranged so tastefully. It is 5 minutes (a car is essential) from Punta Gorda, where there is every kind of eating place you could possibly need, as well as shops and places to visit; and it's about 15 minutes from Port Charlotte, where there are lots more restaurants, shops and a mall/cinema. We would highly recommend this house as a get-away-from-it-all refuge for anyone needing some quality R&R! We will most definitely be returning."
