"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blind Pass! The condo had everything we
needed and we loved the location at the quieter end of the island (much less traffic). The condo is a very short walk to the beach (5 min) and having the kayaks available to explore the estuary was great. The weather was perfect every day - lucky us! Gulf water was warm enough for swimming! Grounds, pool and tennis courts are nicely maintained. We biked and kayaked a lot and saw wonderful wildlife in the estuary and at Ding Darling. Highly recommend a guided kayak tour with a naturalist in Ding Darling through the Tarpon Bay company. Island Cow on Sanibel and Key Lime Bistro on Captiva were our favorite restaurants. Watching sunset on condo beach and at Mucky Duck on Captiva were also highlights. Betty was very helpful in responding to questions and making arrangements. Sanibel is truly a natural wonder. Hope to return sometime soon!"

"This was my family of 6 first stay at this condo unit where we were for the past week (mid-March). When we arrived we found the unit to be appropriately cleaned. The condo was well laid out and very comfortable to relax, cook, and eat. The kitchen had all of the utensils that we needed. We used the blender to make tasty Pina Coladas. Hmmm! We cooked in for all of the nights except for one and we used the community grills 4x during the week. With this first floor unit, the grills are conveiniently located one the other side of the tennis court. Blind Pass has 5 Weber gas grills to use; a very nice set up. We brought a perforated pan to cook veggies and fish, which worked out great. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook each meal. The kitchen table is big enough to comfortably accommodate 6 people and could handle 8. The living room furniture was comfortable, especially the rocker. There were TV's in the living room and in all bedrooms that we never used.
The unit had a blender, coffee maker, washer, dryer and fairly new SST kitchen appliances. The bedrooms were all nicely furnished to store our clothes. 2 of the 3 bathrooms had what appeared to be new shower units that had multiple shower heads or nozzles and had large shower stalls. There were hairdryers in at least 2 of the bathrooms. The air conditioning worked good in the day time, but it was limited to 71 degrees at night which made it a little too warm for us. The unit had a screened in porch which we used to sit out and relax and play some board games.
There are 2 tennis courts in the complex; one is right outside the unit. And the swimming pool and condo association's offices are no more than 50 yards from the unit; very conveinient. The staff at Blind Pass was helpful and accommodating. The unit came with multiple toys to enjoy your time there including: a beach wagon, several coolers of different sizes, some children's beach toys, Frisbee, about 4 beach chairs, a beach umbrella, a small space heater, and some fishing rods and reels. However, the umbrella isn't particularly robust and several of the chairs are showing their age. It's about a 5 minute walk down to the beautiful Bowman Beach. We watch several sunsets there. Gorgeous. We rented bikes for the week but it was a 7 mile ride into town and then back, so we wouldn't do that again.
