"beautiful house, UNBEATABLE location, and fabulous yard. Our family spent time fishing on the dock, (Castaways marina is right next door for bait, supplies, and advice.), walking for miles on the beach, kayaking the bay and bayou, and swimming in our private heated pool. there is even a fire pit and Chip brought over a supply of firewood to use. We had the most relaxing and serene trip in years."

"We are getting ready to pack up after a wonderful month at Mango House. We liked it so much, we are booked for next year. We appreciated all of the suggestions provided by the owners for sights to see. Thanks to the bikes provided, we spent many hours on Sanibel's bike paths. We appreciated being able to lock up beach chairs to the beach access path fence and not have to carry them back and forth. The home is well equipped, both in the kitchen and on the bookshelves. We spent lots of time sitting on the screen porch looking over the Sanibel River and did see some alligators swim by. We did buy bike flashers for the bikes for the short time on Rabbit Road, which does not have a bike path. We found drivers to be courteous, giving way to the bikers and pedestrians. Thank you to the owners for making their home available to others so we can escape the winter of MI and enjoy Sanibel."

"This was the third, month long visit for my wife and me. During our stay we were visited by our children and grandchildren. The house is roomy, clean and well appointed. Our two grandchildren especially enjoyed the loft with its twin beds and tv. The master bedroom is roomy with its own bath and a slider to a deck overlooking the pool. It is especially enjoyable for all the company in the afternoon watching the colors change in the western sky. There is also an outside dining area that is screened and surrounded by foliage. Great place for breakfast and the evening meal...a great home. The house is next to a large, clean and heated pool...never a crowd in that there are only nine homes in Sealoft Village. Next to the pool is a tennis court in very good condition...it is almost always open to play. From the pool, it's a pleasant stroll on a boardwalk to a beautiful beach that is sparsely populated. One can look to the left to the Sundial and right towards the public beach and see crowds while this beach is wide open. Dolphins appear almost everyday in mid-morning...nice sight while sipping your second coffee on your beach chair. Obviously the location is excellent. It's only a mile to Jerry's supermarket....a pleasant bike ride for those small purchases. A variety of great restaurants are only a short drive away..can't wait to return to the island."

"We absolutely fell in love with Palm Paradise. The beautiful setting, close proximity to the beach, and the comfort of this gorgeous home made us feel really at home immediately. The furnishing and decor were perfect, and the pool area, surrounded by lovely flowering shrubs and lush foliage was a joy. There was so much space, along with everything you might need and so much more. We enjoyed the beach equipment and the bikes, and early mornings and evenings spent on the terrace lazing on the wicker chairs was so nice. A lovely spot for listening to the birds or reading.
We found the wildlife fascinating - birds, lizards, frogs, occasional snake (harmless) not to mention the ibis, great egret and cardinals that visited. Osprey circled above frequently.
We were lucky enough to spot a bobcat one night as we returned from a restaurant, and at J N Ding Darling and the Bailey Tract, we saw alligators and racoons.
The photos of the house don't show how spacious it really is and I can honestly say that having rented many homes on Sanibel and Captiva, including one very expensive Captiva beach house, this house is our favourite. It was a joy to spend time there and I really hope we will return. It was well worth the nine hour plus flight!"
