"This property is a true find for the island. There were no surprises, ever thing the owner said was there and was in great shape. I just hope that we can get to rent this again in the future. Starting to look at my calender now for next year."

"We are getting ready to pack up after a wonderful month at Mango House. We liked it so much, we are booked for next year. We appreciated all of the suggestions provided by the owners for sights to see. Thanks to the bikes provided, we spent many hours on Sanibel's bike paths. We appreciated being able to lock up beach chairs to the beach access path fence and not have to carry them back and forth. The home is well equipped, both in the kitchen and on the bookshelves. We spent lots of time sitting on the screen porch looking over the Sanibel River and did see some alligators swim by. We did buy bike flashers for the bikes for the short time on Rabbit Road, which does not have a bike path. We found drivers to be courteous, giving way to the bikers and pedestrians. Thank you to the owners for making their home available to others so we can escape the winter of MI and enjoy Sanibel."

"Sanibel reminds me of my childhood vacations in Florida (before hi-rise hotels and over-development). This cottage is a classic beach house, but it's bright with lots of windows and a cheery decor. The location is a couple blocks from the best shelling beach. The bike trail is right across the street. Who needs a car? The house is well-maintained and well-supplied with all you need. It's big enough to have the kids and grandkids (for a weekend) especially with a warm pool. The owner is very good about answering all questions immediately! Yes, I would recommend it to friends who are tired of condo living - it's quiet and private. Though there are many restaurants nearby, we enjoy our own cooking. We recommend the Shell Museum, the kayak trail in Ding Darling, all the bike trails and of course, collecting shells."
