"Sanibel reminds me of my childhood vacations in Florida (before hi-rise hotels and over-development). This cottage is a classic beach house, but it's bright with lots of windows and a cheery decor. The location is a couple blocks from the best shelling beach. The bike trail is right across the street. Who needs a car? The house is well-maintained and well-supplied with all you need. It's big enough to have the kids and grandkids (for a weekend) especially with a warm pool. The owner is very good about answering all questions immediately! Yes, I would recommend it to friends who are tired of condo living - it's quiet and private. Though there are many restaurants nearby, we enjoy our own cooking. We recommend the Shell Museum, the kayak trail in Ding Darling, all the bike trails and of course, collecting shells."

"We had a fantastic time at your wonderful beach cottage. It contained anything we could possibly need, from kitchen utensils, beach toys, linens, WIFI and a Sonus sound system. The owners were warm and welcoming always and just an E-mail away. My favorite area was the Master Suite with a sitting area that opened to the pool, very private!"

"We have been vacationing on Sanibel island since the early 1980s and coming to Palm Paradise for two months annually since 2009. The home is, by far, the best accommodation we've found. It is open and airy with a great interior layout and fantastic lanai and pool. There is plenty of room for visiting family and friends. The home is located in a quiet area, yet is close to all of the activities, restaurants and shopping we enjoy. It is a few minutes from the beach and close to the bike paths and nature areas.
The Kilkennys are always available and easy to work with. They are eager to make our stays the best they can be. We think of Palm Paradise as our home away from home and are looking forward to our visit again next year."

"Anyone looking for a well equipped rental home on Sanibel, close to the beach, with an easy bike ride to the local Bailey's grocery store, and restaurants, will enjoy their stay at Los Ondas. This home is tastefully updated, completed with all the things you need to enjoy your stay. Even the beach towels were there. You will find plenty of pillows, extra blankets, and soft comfy sheets, too. Water pressure works well in the oversized tiled showers, located in both the pool and hall baths. Los Ondas has an island kitchen with loads of dishes, pots, pans, and a big side by side refrigerator to make storing food, and preparing meals easy. Our family spent most mild Florida evenings outside, in the screened-in pool area. This space is more of an open air chat room, furnished with upscale sunbrella-covered cushioned furniture. Trees are mature and beautiful. You might want to water the lovely bromeliads growing under the massive fig tree. I feel sure they miss their owner's TLC. Sharon and Judy at C2C rental agency are the best! You could not ask for better service. They happily respond to the most minor requests. We have been blessed with the good fortune to both own and stay in some nice rental homes over the years. We highly recommend this property and C2C. Los Ondas is more than just a place to stay, it is a home away from home."
