"My wife and I gave our four children, three in-laws, and five grandchildren a week on Captiva with us for the week after Christmas. We had a great time, and the Dolphin Cove home worked exceptionally well for us. We found we could get a day pass to the beach and pool at 'Tween Waters for a reasonable price, so we had all of the advantages of a great resort with the privacy and reduced food costs of a private home. The home itself is in a great location, very private, and the enclosed pool adjacent to the living room was great. There are six (NOT seven) bedrooms, so we had plenty of room for everyone. We rented a boat for a day, so the dock was very useful. The wildlife viewing was great -- dolphins, ospreys, even a bobcat! The kitchen is very functional and we saved a fortune (and reduced stress by not having to wrangle small children in restaurants) by cooking most of our meals in. Upsides: Captiva is a great place, very relaxing, with wonderful beaches as well as pleasant shopping, restaurants, and wildlife refuges close at hand. Downsides: a lot of deferred maintenance on the exterior of the house, and light switches and exterior lights that did not function."

"We keep coming back to Bob's house year after year for the same reason, it's the perfect spot for a family vacation. The photos are spot on, a true depiction of what you get when you stay here. The house is conveniently located near several restaurants and a small convenience type store so there's really no need to drive any where once you settle in. The pool is minutes away and very kid friendly. The gorgeous beach is never crowded and only a short walk from the pool. There are tennis courts available on the property that are well maintained. The grilling/picnic areas are spotless as well. We have seen dolphins, manatees and a huge assortment of birds ranging from plovers to osprey. Sunset Captiva is a place where time slows down, memories are made and you'll want to return to year after year. We do."

"The house was immaculate, extraordinarily comfortable, and situated perfectly on two canals, one which faced the setting sun. The interactions with the owners prior to our visit were excellent. We received fast responses to our inquiries. Instructions concerning our visit and tips concerning local restaurants were most helpful. We would definitely stay in this lovely cottage again if we return to Pine Island."

"This is our first time on the island and my family and I love it here. The room cannot be any better. The location is perfect with an ocean view but not an ocean front price! The condo is in amazing shape and has everything a family would need. Frank and Jeanne have made this place special and family friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants something special at a discounted price. My family will definitely be back to visit the island and this unit. Thanks Frank and Jeanne for making our stay perfect!"
