"We have just returned from a family reunion at this wonderful home, I went armed with various kitchen appliances as this was family time and we were eating together at home, so wanted my tools around me, didn't need them, this home is so well equipped, everything thought of even down to the cart to take the chairs, umbrellas and picnics to the beach which is just across the road. A very spacious home and a screened porch also, very secluded , relaxing , yet modern and very clean. We will be back. Thank you Margarethe and Rene"

"Our only regret was we couldn't stay longer. Owner was more than welcoming and checked in several times to make sure everything was going well. The location couldn't be better. Inside the South Seas gates and easy walking to Doc Ford's and the Mucky Duck. Plenty of places for the teenagers to kayak and the beaches were perfect. The place was furnished beautifully and with quality. I felt like I was at home. Everything had a clean feel to it and the washer/dryer was a definite plus. It also seemed very safe. Had no problem with the kids coming and going as they pleased here. They also found many conchs, starfish and sand dollars which they loved. God willing we will be back next year."

"We loved everything about our stay! We even met new people and had a BBQ at the home and there was plenty of room for all! House has a beautiful Florida style feel with white wicker and everything is kept up nicely!! Quick walk to the beach or pool instead, we did it all! They even supplied us with bicycles which was a nice added touch! Even the tour boat ride was informative and beautiful. I didn't know all the different birds they have there compared to where we live on the opposite coast. The Island Cow & Doc Fords where great places to eat. What more can I say we absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to go again!! I like how quiet it is there a true retreat from the hustle bustle!! Highly recommend this house and area!"

"We had another wonderful stay at the Sandpiper Villa rental on Captiva. This home is very accommodating. Being from Lansing, we were especially happy to see a new addition - a very large hi-def tv to watch our MSU Spartans in the Final Four. The furniture throughout is very comfortable. We go to Captiva to fish and relax (in that order.) Everything is within a very short walk from the house, whether you prefer throwing a line from the dock across the street, or fishing from the beach. We rented a pontoon twice during the week from Jensen's marina across the street and had a nice fish fry. The restaurants are right around the corner. Our favorite, Doc Ford's, is a little further down the road, but still within walking distance. We've learned through the years that you really don't need more than a carry-on with a few clothes (other than fishing gear) when staying here because of the washer/dryer. Restaurants are very casual. I can't imagine renting anywhere else. We're already booked for next year. Thanks, Mary!"
