"We have stayed on Sanibel Island many times and this was our first time at King's Crown. This condo was much more spacious than the other places we have stayed (Pointe Santo, Sundial). We loved the quiet location and smaller complex. We were there in low season (late May-early June) and mostly had the pool to ourselves though we met a few nice folks there. As always, the Sanibel beach does not disappoint, and it is just a short walk across the lawn to get there. We found LOTS of great shells, even some live ones to put back in (dozens of live starfish, live sandollars, and conch shells with critters found in waist deep water that we could pick up and then put back). We were also treated to a rare sighting for this time of year of the white pelican and a lone roseate spoonbill at the Ding Darling preserve (as well as other birds). We saw plenty of dolphins on this trip too, some right at our beach at KC.
This condo was superb. The kitchen was very large and had everything we needed. The owner has stocked her condo well and we ate most of our meals in. The living area is made so much bigger by the glassed in lanai. All of the other properties we have stayed at have not had this advantage. We don't want to sit out on a screened in lanai/porch when it is hot and humid. The lanai space in Unit 109 can be air conditioned by leaving the glass doors to the living/dining areas open all the time which adds sizable living space. The view of the Gulf from the lanai is beautiful and it also overlooks the pool which was great for us. The sofas and chairs were comfortable, and there was a great selection of DVDs and some video games our sons used after swimming all day.
The owner provides quality linens and towels for your stay. There were plenty, including beach towels. Not the cheap, thin kind.....the thick, scrumptious kind! There were many personal touches like this throughout the condo, such as the artistic paintings on the walls and beach chairs and toys left for the children.
We would highly recommend this property, and plan on being back ourselves!"

"It took over 2 hours to get into the unit,we're never sent directions to use the door key dispenser so we didn't have the required code. Liked the community and the unit. It would have been nice if the umbrella worked and it won't be,long before the beach buggy won't work either. There were worms and small bugs in the unit and one large roach"

"Sanibel Surfside was beautiful! Our condo was facing the ocean and literally feet away!!! We had an excellent time, the condo was immaculate including all the amenities that you could possibly need. Wonderful screened in lanai to watch the ocean from and super friendly helpful owners. My family and I can't wait to return again!!! Also, the shelling on our beachfront was incredible!!!! Thanks again....until next time!!"

"This condo had everything you would need to relax and enjoy the view. Though the condo needed a little extra TLC prior to our arrival. We were welcome by a herd of dust bunnies and such. Tried to vacuum them up but vacuum left more dirt then when we started. But besides this item, the view, location and pool were outstanding. Where could you go and stay in in less then 2 mins. you were knee deep in the Gulf of Mexico. Make sure you get all the items you will need for your stay before you cross over the bridge. Because once you arrive....you will never want to leave. Can't wait till our next visit."
