"We have been coming here for several years. This is the 1st year we have stayed at this complex. It is by far our favorite place and we are planning on returning next year and hopefully the years to come! What wonderful family memories we made. The condo is so comfortable, well equipped and clean. The view from the condo is so beautiful! The complex itself is so pretty and well maintained. Beautiful pool, grills, and short walk to the beach. The storage unit on ground level was such a plus with all the beach chairs, and sand, beach and pool toys Yes, we will be back!"

"You only have to read all the great reviews and website photos about this condo to know its going to be good, but on arrival, it's even better! It's on the top floor, and so has the added benefit of a roof terrace. From here (when it's not too hot!), you have a great view of the whole Pointe De Santo complex and the Gulf of Mexico. The beds are comfortable, and the master bedroom looks out across the ocean - a great view to wake up to! There were 6 in our party; myself, my wife, 2 kids (17 & 15) and my wife's parents. When we originally booked, the area in the photos with the "Beach" sign over it was a 4th sleeping area, but before we arrived this had been changed to an office area, and so my 15 year old son had to share the 3rd bedroom, which is quite small, with his 17 year old sister. This wasn't ideal, but they managed. The condo is well equipped and very nicely decorated, and has cupboards full of things like snorkels, buckets and spades, and all kinds of things for the beach. The onsite pool is great, with lots of sunbeds. The complex is maintained to a high standard, with the grounds maintenance guys out most days keeping everything looking great.
Sanibel is a very relaxing place to stay, with lots of nice shops and places to eat. The nearby Fort Myers Beach is also great for an evening out, or fishing from the pier. We did have a medical issue during the week, but the staff at the island medical centre were very helpful and sorted us out.
I would highly recommend this condo"

"This was my husband and I's first return trip to the island after getting married on the beach in Sanibel in 2012. I chose this rental based on the reviews and pictures, and they were spot on! This was actually my 4th time to Sanibel and this was my favorite place for sure! The lush gardens and landscaping make it feel like you are in the jungle! Very close to the pool and just a short walk to the beach - we really enjoyed and appreciated having all the beach goodies available for our use. If you can, August and September are the best times to visit, as it was extremely quiet on the whole island! Some nights we even had the local restaurants to ourselves! The kitchen was absolutely beautiful and everything about the condo was very well appointed. We cooked in one night and used the available grills behind the clubhouse. One day we took the Sanibel Thriller Boat Ride around the islands, which we recommend. It was very informative and you get to play with the wild dolphins! All in all, very relaxing and fun trip - we plan to return! Just watch out for those pesky No-see-ums!!"

"We just returned from our first visit to Captive. The Cottage was exceptional. Quiet, clean, convenient to the beach and to the village. The "honeymoon cabin" housed our son, his wife and their dog. My wife and I enjoyed the house itself. This for us was the PERFECT Captiva stay. Unpretentious, comfortable and very functional. We want to return next summer. We watched from the deck as Porpoises were swimming in the gulf."
