  • Fall Break Getaway

"This was a Fall Break trip for my son, myself, and my Mom. Even though weather caused us to arrive a day late, we still had a great time on our trip. The condo was just as described. It was very clean and comfortable. Nice location to the beach. There was construction and landscaping going on around the condo which did prevent us from sleeping late or taking naps, but did not prevent us from using the pool or getting to the beach. We were surprised at how hot and humid it was for fall. Be sure to take bug spray for the little "no seeums" that are around the beach grass. The on site Condo Office is not the rental office who supplies you with items for the condo or problems with the condo, Kingfisher Rental Company is, we were never able to get anyone at Kingfisher to answer their phone when we called with questions. The owners of this condo are GREAT, they are always fast in answering any questions you may have. I would rent from them again. We didn't use the bikes so not sure about them. Jerry's Market is handy to pick up all types of supplies. Sanibel Fish House is great for fish and sea food. Thank you to the owners for letting us use your wonderful condo."

  • Lovely complex, beautiful condo--can't wait to come back!

"My husband and I spent Aug. 30-Sept. 5, 2014 in C-22 at Pointe Santo with our daughter, son-in-law, and two grandchildren, ages 17 months and 4 years old, and we all had a ball! We we very happy that there was an elevator located near the assigned parking space that allowed us to comfortably carry up all our stuff, which was a LOT with the children! The door has a a code to unlock it, so none of us had to worry about carrying/losing a key to the condo. The 4 year old loved putting in the "secret code" each time we re-entered the condo. When we opened the door the first time, we all said, "Wow! This is great!" Susan had told me that they had recently renovated the condo with new paint, carpeting, furniture and bedding, and it was just beautiful. The beds were very comfortable, and the addition of a twin bed (with railings provided if needed) in the second bedroom was especially nice for the 4 year old. We were able to look straight out the condo toward the Gulf and it looks just like the picture. We were located directly above one of the several sets of BBQ grills that were available for use so we could watch the men from the balcony as they grilled out for us. The gas grills are slow, but that made the meat especially tender. The kitchen had everything we could possibly want, and the dishes, glasses, and pots and pans were nice quality, not the odds and ends thrown together for renters as some owners do. Susan was so easy to work with. She called us on the second day just to make sure we had everything we needed and to let us know that she was only a phone call away if we needed her. It was a benefit to deal directly with the owners because we did not have to pay a booking fee with an agency, and there was also no cleaning fee, which is a substantial savings over most condos. Be sure and visit the Island Cow for lunch or dinner. The portions are very large, so either plan on sharing or taking home leftovers! Bailey's Market is about a mile away, and it's a very nice grocery store. We loaded up at Publix before crossing the causeway but made several trip to Bailey's while we were there, and the prices are very comparable to Publix. We also spent several hot afternoons at the Sanibel Lilbrary with the children. The library has an excellent children's area and it has lots of puzzles, which kept the grandson occupied for several hours. We all hated to leave when Sat. rolled around, but hopefully, we'll be back again."

  • A little piece of Island Paradise

"My husband and I stayed at the cottage for three nights. We have not been to Sanibel Island for many many years. Considering we only live two hours away. With that said I think we have found the best place to stay on the island. The cottage is so cute and decorated well. It is centrally located to just about everything you may need. Everything for the beach is right at hand & I love that you can leave all your wet things right at the front door before entering. The bikes could use a little update but, served the purpose. Kurt the owner was more than helpful with any questions we had. My only disappointment was that I made breakfast every morning and thought that we would have at least the basic spices ie: salt, pepper, foil, plastic wrap, etc. I thought it would be more of a stocked kitchen. With that said I would highly recommend this adorable cottage for anyone looking for some peace and quite and relaxation. Oh and one more thing that we so enjoyed was the pool just steps from the door. So if your looking to enjoy some "Island Time" you will not be disappointed."

  • Superb!

"The pictures don't do justice to the place, it's much bigger in person. The couch...I'm shopping for one here because we all fit (6 of us) comfortably and cushy!!! The storage room was fantastic: shovels, umbrellas, tons of chairs and a buggy to push all the stuff. We were so gratefully we did some cleaning in it for the next group! Your place was so great I cried when I left. :("
