  • Island living at its best

"My sister and I stayed in this adorable home. Easy, easy walk to the beach !! A covered deck accessible from bedrooms and living area with stairs to the pool all inside a two story lanai made relaxing poolside a joy. Bike paths on the island make local travel fun. The owners are friendly & knowledgeable of island life. Will visit again soon."

  • Vacation Condo

"We had a wonderful time relaxing at this beautiful condo. The condo is very spacious and the screened in lanai is a great place to sit and relax after a day out exploring the island or coming back from a day at the beach. My husband enjoyed the two golf courses that are within minutes of the condo. We were there the first week of June and the weather was perfect for the beach. Many great places to eat all within five minutes of the condo. If you want to just sit and relax, explore the island by bike, play golf or sit at the pool or beach, this is the perfect place to be!"

  • Something for Everyone!

"We love Sanibel, and are excited to have found the perfect house for our family when we visit in the winter. The main house has a master suite and two additional bedrooms. There's a separate suite off the lanai and another room downstairs with futons, and its own bathroom so large groups have plenty of space, and even some privacy. The entire lanai and pool are enclosed in a mesh cage, making outdoor activities free of worries about bugs and weather. We loved reading, talking and eating out there. The swimming pool was the perfect temperature, and the spa a nice way to relax at the end of the day. Our techie grandson loved that there were wall-mounted TVs & integrated systems throughout the house. He and our grand daughter liked to use the playstation for games in the little downtime we had. Our other grandson liked to have a place to watch movies on the big screen. The kitchen is well-equipped and there are numerous spaces for large family gatherings. There are bicycles, beach chairs, sand toys and floats to use, so we didn't need to get our own. The walk to the beach through a tropical setting was magical, especially when we unexpectedly popped out on West Gulf Drive! Once crossing the street, the beach was an easy walk via a deeded walkway. The beach was never crowded, always a plus when with a large group. The location is ideal as the house is in a private, quiet development, yet with easy access to all points on the island. Jerry's & Bailey's grocery stores and shopping centers are both within walking distance. Laura, the owner, was wonderful to work with & responsive to all our requests. Her on island manager, Diane, was very helpful as well. We've rented many places on Sanibel, each with something special about it. Everyone agreed that L'Etoioe de Mer is the best!"

  • Everything we hoped for and more!

"This condo was so perfect for our family of five: 2 adults and 3 small children. I loved that we were on the same side as the Gulf and we did not have to cross any streets to get to the beach. From the second floor lanai you can see a small sliver of the gulf but the lush landscaping made up for that. I love that there are beautiful palm trees surrounding the lanai and lining the back sides of all the condos. When we opened the windows of the bedrooms, we could here the trees rustling. The condo facility takes great care of the grounds. There is a large cobblestone brick driveway that runs through the condo and it gave the kids a great area to play and run around. This was a slow period so we did not encounter lots of traffic on the street. It is a short doable walk from the condo to the beach. There is a small boardwalk to cross and they provide showers to wash off as you walk back to the condo. The beach was soft and had lots of shells to entertain the boys. We would go about twice a day. The condo provided beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys, shelling equipment, a cooler, and everything else that you can think of. Kathi was there for us on the phone when I had questions. This place as great and we will definitely stay here again when we return to the lovely Sanibel Island."
