"My team and I were in Sarasota for strategic planning for an arts event we are hosting same time next year. The Historic House of Ringling was an excellent fit. The house afforded us each our own distinct spaces while allowing us plenty of room to gather and work as well. We loved its close proximately to our event location and to the museums and colleges that speak to the cultural history of Sarasota as well as making an easy trip over to the beaches or the downtown area within minutes. As noted the house has many nuances and personality traits that speak to the life it has lived alas if you want a track mansion with gigantic bathrooms you may not "get" this house…We love the beautiful ceilings and doors, the ballroom columns, the gathering comfort of the dining room to discuss the day ahead in the morning and recap our day at dinner, and the mature tropical foliage that surrounds the pool area for mid afternoon meetings around the partially shaded pool….and the beautiful fiery orange blossoms on the tree in the back were so pretty!! I have to find out what kind of tree that is….Thank you Brian for sharing this experience and we look forward to hopefully adding the chauffeurs cottage for the rest of our team next year when we return!!"
