"I was renting this condo with my family and we are absolutely loved it. The place itself, convinient location. We would recommend this property and most likely we will rent it next year again."

  • This place is really nice!

"When I first entered the villa, I said "Wow! This place is really nice." It was super-clean, recently remodeled, and has ultramodern appliances, a big living room and master bedroom, good WiFi and cable channels, 3 HD TVs and plenty of room. It's right across from the community center with a large well-heated swimming pool and gas BBQ grills. The service from the rental agent Mary was first rate and immediately responsive. The location is perfect for all that Sarasota has to offer. It's close to the beaches and only about a 15 minute drive to Sarasota's cultural center with a concert hall, live theaters, world-class art museum and good restaurants. There's plenty to do in the immediate neighborhood, too, as it's 5 minutes from the mall with 12 movie screens. We went to Sarasota for some winter hiking, for which this villa is ideal. It is only 10 minutes from Oscar Scherer State Park and 15 from Myakka River State Park, which are great places to hike in the winter with well marked, dry, beautiful trails. After a day of hiking, we returned to the comfort and luxury of this modern spacious villa."

  • Second year to spend a month here and it is an exceptional place to stay!

"First- the villa: convenient to everything you need and most of what you didn't even know you needed but now want! Extremely well cared for villa home that is immaculate, and so very comfortable. At 1400 sq. ft. it is quite spacious, and the attached garage is a bonus. It is quiet in the enclave, and so if you like to party hardy, this is NOT the place for you. In fact, if you kept me up all night acting like drunken fools I wouldn't hesitate to call the police. And I'm betting so would the villa owners who live in the complex year round. There are a lot of returning guests year after year, with a heavy concentration of Europeons. It seems the word is out in Germany, in particular, that Village des Pins is a great place to stay. Next: the owners, Sandy and Doug. Nicest people ever! Dealling with them is always pleasant and they have a great fund of knowledge about great places to eat out. The lady from the management company, Mary, gets things done quickly and efficiently. Older clientele stays here, for the most part, and that helps keep things quiet and very, very pleasant."

  • Clean, comfortable, convenient!

"My wife and I spent a whole month at this villa. We didn't know what to pack and it turns out we didn't need anything but our clothes and toiletries. The house was stocked with everything you could imagine. The TV in the living room was recently upgraded and very nice. We loved the pass through "nook" from the kitchen to the dining area. All the cooking utensils you could imagine. The washer and dryer are excellent. The beds were quite comfortable. Ceiling fans in every room kept the inside quite cool. Thermostat was easy to use as was the door lock to the front door. Tons of closet space with hangers! The garage was stocked well, also. Golf clubs, tennis rackets, snorkeling gear, soccer ball, beach chairs, beach umbrella, cooler, swim noodles, tools, windshield washer fluid and a propane grill. It is close to the pool which is heated to about 87F. It is within walking distance to the grocery store and the largest mall in Sarasota. The location is quiet even though the mall is real close. We are not beach people so being away from the beach was no problem for us. If you like the beach, it is about 5 miles away. It is only about 4 miles from the Legacy Trail, if you like to bike or walk without cars. We were so pleased we have booked it for 2016!"
