"Our one-month stay in John’s house was far beyond our expectations in everyway. His description and pictures on VRBO accurately portray what you will find the minute you walk into the house. It is spacious and the décor is highly interesting and personal, like you walked into John’s house for a visit. Beds are comfortable. The master suite includes sliding door access to the pool, a huge walk in closet with shelving, hanging and storage space and an oversized bath. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and serving, including a Keurig. TV’s and cable options, washer and dryer, very high speed WiFi, beach umbrellas, a Weber grill, lanai lounging and dining furniture, a huge dining table off the kitchen, a separate office room and spacious living room made living in John’s house truly our home away from home. The pool isn’t for laps, but who does laps when they’re on holiday. You want to get wet, cool down, relax and have fun – this pool is perfect for that. We had friends come for a long weekend. They had a private suite, bedroom and bath, a walk in closet, and sliding door access to the pool. A pocket door off the living room allowed total privacy for all – perfect. The attached garage allowed for security of our car and bicycles for easy coming and going. We made the 3 block walk to The Red Bug Slough at least once every day for great exercise, bird watching and meeting locals out walking their dogs. John’s house is perfectly located to all the attractions Sarasota offers, Siesta and Lido Key beaches, Venice, Myakka State Park, 2 grocery stores, Target, Costco, Dunkin’ Donuts ☺ and shopping of every sort. His recommendations for restaurants were right on. John’s VRBO welcome page is extremely helpful at home and while away. John responded quickly to our e-mail when we had questions. He provides the daily newspaper – wow! We wouldn’t hesitate staying here again, even longer if we could get in. You won’t find a better value for your money for a worry-free accommodation. Recommended without reservation!"
