  • Fine spot!

"Simply a wonderful, welcoming home in which to spend time exploring Sarasota. We thoroughly enjoyed our extended stay there, and easily settled in. The home was well equipped and the owner was very responsive to any questions and needs we had. The location next to the Ringling campus served us well, whether visiting the art gallery and grounds, biking the neighborhood or to downtown, or driving to Lido Key, St. Armands Key, Whole Foods, restaurants or the many performing arts venues. We would highly recommend this "home away from home" to anyone looking for a single family property in a great neighborhood."

  • FANTASTIC ON EVERY LEVEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"We have been coming to visit Sarasota for the past 10 years, always staying at various hotels. Simply put, we will never be staying anywhere else but this property again! The freedom of having your private: kitchen, pool, kayaks, beach, etc… is amazing. The property itself is located in a beautiful neighborhood were us ladies would do our morning runs while the men were fishing in front of the house! The kids lived in the water for the entire week spotting dolphins, manatees, and much more. The pictures do not reflect how amazing the property actually is. Gustavo was always there to give a hand if we needed anything at all and attended to any minor issue or questions in a matter of minutes. If you are looking for amazing memories and ready to escape the artificial “resort-style” vacation, book this property now! We will be staying here for many years to come, thanks Marc!"

  • Love Sarasota!

"Dear Beya: We are back home on Long Island. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the condo very much. The location was wonderful and convenient. We loved the lake view and we watched birds diving into the water. There were tall palm trees right outside our windows. The photos of the condo on the website were accurate. You really thought of everything. There were plenty of towels and we really appreciated the beach chairs. The kitchen was stocked with every appliance/gadget you could possibly need. We replaced anything that we used. My husband had difficulty logging into the internet and you sent someone to assist him the first day of our stay. Beya ,we look forward to coming back in the future.Thank you so much for all those little thoughtful touches in the condo, like the printed instruction sheets that clarified everything and the little candies. Sincerely, Barbara and Tony Commack, New York"

  • Exceeded all expectations!!!

"Bob met us in person to show us everything and answer any questions. The condo was very clean, well insulated, quiet, and convenient almost anything one could desire...plus you get to watch golfers tee off! Quiet community and friendly neighbors. Every imaginable cooking utensils and cookware. Plenty of spices as well. TV/Internet/Phone/AC all worked perfectly, which was very important as I worked remotely during my stay. My deposit was returned quickly. Stayed in condo for 1 month and was sad to leave!"

Sarasota Travel Tips

Sarasota offers visitors an excellent array of cultural attractions, dining experiences and outdoor activities.

Of course, while visiting Sarasota you'll want to spend ample time on the sandy shores getting that perfect tan, catching up on reading, cooling off in the bright blue waters and building the world's greatest sand castle, and there's plenty of space on the beaches to do all that and more during your vacation.

When you're ready to head inland, a variety of local restaurants await you to fill you with delicious flavors - especially fresh seafood - and provide you with a delightful night out. You can also spend time learning about the history and culture of this Floridian city as you explore the architecture, museums and even the circus.

Things to Do in Sarasota

- The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art: If you've been a long-time fan of the circus, art and the Ringling Brothers, visiting the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art and the Circus Museum are musts on the Sarasota to-do list. The Museum of Art boasts 21 galleries featuring paintings from Europe, contemporary art from Asia and America and Cypriot antiquities. There's currently more than 10,000 works in the collection in mediums such as painting, photography, sculpture, drawings and decorative arts. Some of the most treasured masterpieces are from Peter Paul Ruben, Marcel Duchamp, Rosa Bonheur, Benedetto Pagni, Joseph Wright of Derby and more. And if you love the magic of stepping into the big tent, be sure to also swing by the Circus Museum, where you'll find performing props, wardrobes and equipment like parade wagons and a person-shooting cannon. You'll also see a variety of 19th and 20th century posters and learn all about the history of "the greatest show on earth."

- Sarasota Jungle Gardens: Nature and animals lovers will certainly appreciate the Sarasota Jungle Gardens, which is one of the oldest continuously run attractions in Florida. Here you'll find more than 150 animals, both native and exotic, including parrots, birds of prey, primates, snakes, alligators, small mammals and flamingos - a huge draw here - throughout the 10 acres of tropical landscaping. The recently installed Flamingo Cam offers 24-hour viewing access to the flock of pink birds.

- Ca' d'zan Mansion: This amazing house is A 56-room Venetian Gothic-inspired structure that was formerly the Ringling family's home. The mansion covers 36,000 square feet and stands five stories tall. Take a guided tour of the palace and you'll feel like a personal guest of the Ringling family as you hear stories and information about them as well as the home itself.

- Siesta Beach: For eight miles you'll experience the city's gateway to the Gulf of Mexico. Locals and visitors alike enjoy the laid-back, relaxed vibe, calm waters of the Gulf and the unbeatable sunshine.

Dining in Sarasota

- Captain Curt's Crab and Oyster Bar: Being so close to the ocean, fresh seafood is sure to be delicious in Sarasota, and you can find tasty options at Captain Curt's Crab and Oyster Bar. This family-friendly eatery with a relaxed atmosphere and reasonable prices gives you a taste of "Old Florida" with conch fritters, crab, shrimp, gator bites, escargot and more. For the adults, there's also an outdoor Tiki Bar here that serves drinks until 2 a.m., so you can have a fun, but relaxed, night out in a tropical setting. There's also a foosball table and pinball machine inside if you're up for some friendly competition. If you're feeling adventurous, there's even karaoke and live entertainment most nights.

- Bijou Cafe: For a more upscale dining experience, head to the Bijou Cafe, which has been serving delicious Continental-American cuisine since 1986. The eatery features an award-winning wine list and exceptional service. The decor is lovely and emulates a modern European cafe with French windows and fresh-picked flowers glowing in candlelight. The Sarasota Herald Tribune has awarded the Bijou Cafe with reader's choice awards, and it has received accolades from other papers as well. Try the crab cakes, mussels, tuna tartar, roasted duck or mushroom ravioli.
