  • Beautiful place to host family for any event!

"This home has the charm of a gracious lady and the amenities to make the entire family happy. We gathered together for our son's Graduation from New College and were delighted with the house, the host, and the neighborhood! The first night my husband and I enjoyed the place to ourselves - stretching out in room after room while we sipped champagne and planned out the upcoming days of visitors. We were able to have small groups come over for informal afternoons as well as host a largish dinner party without ever feeling cramped or burdened by being guests in a large house. The kitchen has everything one could need for hosting and the house is laid out so as to allow a variety of groups form and re-form in a fluid manner while mingling and visiting in a lovely open setting. We used the pool and hot tub daily, enjoyed the many seating areas throughout the house and especially enjoyed the eclectic items of interest in the rooms (such as cigar box musical instruments!). We would rent this place again for a family gathering. The photos don't convey the sense of style and ease that the place fills you up with. The property is obviously well cared for; immaculate and well stocked. We brought along our 16# mini-schnauzer and were grateful that he was welcomed! The yard is fenced in and the neighborhood is great for strolling too. Great place to gather friends and family and feel like gracious hosts!"

  • Great Location and a really clean, nice place

"My wife and I have stayed at this Condo multiple times. We came back because of the great location and the Condo is exceptionally clean. I really like the golf course and my wife loves the pool and the beach. Close shopping and washer/dryer in the condo are great. The condo is in perfect condition and has everything you need. We like to eat on the porch because of the nice view. Hope we can come back soon!"

  • Excellent condo, highly recommended

"My wife and I spent almost four months at this Pinestone condo, prior to moving to our new home in Sarasota. To say we were satisfied would be an understatement: we enjoyed our time there very much, and recommend it to anyone. Ths iistine was completely accurate; shopping was just a couple of minutes away, as were the major roads (routes 75 and 41). While neither of us plays tennis, we noted that the courts were in excellent condition and appeared well maintained, as is the pool and clubhouse area. The owners couldn't have been more accommodating, going out of their way to ensure our comfort and satisfaction."

  • Outstanding Rental

"My wife and I stayed in this villa for the month of February. It was very nice and spacious. Fully equipped and comfortable with all you need to have a great vacation. We would love to stay here again. The villa is centrally located to many different places of interest. It is only 2 miles from Siesta Key Beach. The heated pool was a comfortable 86-87 degrees. The Pinetree community is clean and nicely landscaped. The residents are friendly and full of local information."

Sarasota Travel Tips

Sarasota offers visitors an excellent array of cultural attractions, dining experiences and outdoor activities.

Of course, while visiting Sarasota you'll want to spend ample time on the sandy shores getting that perfect tan, catching up on reading, cooling off in the bright blue waters and building the world's greatest sand castle, and there's plenty of space on the beaches to do all that and more during your vacation.

When you're ready to head inland, a variety of local restaurants await you to fill you with delicious flavors - especially fresh seafood - and provide you with a delightful night out. You can also spend time learning about the history and culture of this Floridian city as you explore the architecture, museums and even the circus.

Things to Do in Sarasota

- The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art: If you've been a long-time fan of the circus, art and the Ringling Brothers, visiting the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art and the Circus Museum are musts on the Sarasota to-do list. The Museum of Art boasts 21 galleries featuring paintings from Europe, contemporary art from Asia and America and Cypriot antiquities. There's currently more than 10,000 works in the collection in mediums such as painting, photography, sculpture, drawings and decorative arts. Some of the most treasured masterpieces are from Peter Paul Ruben, Marcel Duchamp, Rosa Bonheur, Benedetto Pagni, Joseph Wright of Derby and more. And if you love the magic of stepping into the big tent, be sure to also swing by the Circus Museum, where you'll find performing props, wardrobes and equipment like parade wagons and a person-shooting cannon. You'll also see a variety of 19th and 20th century posters and learn all about the history of "the greatest show on earth."

- Sarasota Jungle Gardens: Nature and animals lovers will certainly appreciate the Sarasota Jungle Gardens, which is one of the oldest continuously run attractions in Florida. Here you'll find more than 150 animals, both native and exotic, including parrots, birds of prey, primates, snakes, alligators, small mammals and flamingos - a huge draw here - throughout the 10 acres of tropical landscaping. The recently installed Flamingo Cam offers 24-hour viewing access to the flock of pink birds.

- Ca' d'zan Mansion: This amazing house is A 56-room Venetian Gothic-inspired structure that was formerly the Ringling family's home. The mansion covers 36,000 square feet and stands five stories tall. Take a guided tour of the palace and you'll feel like a personal guest of the Ringling family as you hear stories and information about them as well as the home itself.

- Siesta Beach: For eight miles you'll experience the city's gateway to the Gulf of Mexico. Locals and visitors alike enjoy the laid-back, relaxed vibe, calm waters of the Gulf and the unbeatable sunshine.
