  • Our Favorite Home Away From Home

"We live in Central Florida but also enjoy a beach get-a-way a couple of times a year. We have stayed at several gulf coast beaches over the years and have found there is nothing better than the combination of Joan & Paul's condos + Siesta Key + Crescent Beach. We have stayed several times in 3 of their units in Crescent Arms and found all of them to be well maintained and furnished. And they add the personal contact to make us feel at home here."

  • What a View!!

"Just got back from a week at Siesta Key and have to say the view was amazing!! I loved being able to set on the screened balcony or on the sofa with the sliding doors open and hear the sound of the ocean. The condo was very comfortable and worked out great. The information provided by Kathy with the necessary key codes for the door and gate worked perfectly. I will come back for another walk on the beautiful Siesta Key beach as soon as possible. Thanks for a relaxing and wonderful week!!"

  • Very nice condo and good location, a few minor quibbles

"We enjoyed our stay here. The access to the beach is great, and this is one of the nicest beaches we have ever seen. You can walk to a small shopping area with a few restaurants and ice cream shops - very convenient. The pool area is also fine, although its location is not ideal, buried in a parking lot instead of near the beach. The pool was as clean as any I've seen. Covered parking with assigned spot added a nice touch. The unit is very nicely furnished and was clean. We had a few observations that keep it from being a 5-star review. 1. The unit was strangely bare of any sort of household items. No dish soap, no trash bags, no paper towels, no basic cooking items (salt/pepper). Most condos we've rented have a bare minimum of these items on hand. 2. The unit has no outside balcony. The owners have fully enclosed the balcony with windows (which do open). 3. A few minor maintenance issues that were annoying (light bulbs burned out. windows that wouldn't close fully). 4. WiFi in this building is not good. Almost no signal and would drop out all the time. We gave up and just kept our phones on 4G. Overall, a good solid rental. The owners are very pleasant to deal with, although they only deal in paper/checks/snail mail. Would be nice if they took credit cards or Paypal."

  • Our stay at Gary's condo in Siesta Key.

"We have rented Gary's condo for three years now and next year will be our fourth. New carpeting in the living area and bedrooms gives the condo a warmth that seems more like a home than a condo. The new window treatments are attractive and easy to slide across the sliding doors. The condo is clean and the beds are comfortable. I particularly enjoy Gary's condo as it is right next to the laundry room, almost like having it in the condo itself. However, the washers and dryers are quiet enough so that they are not disturbing. Being right on the beach is a real plus. At night it is nice to leave any one of the three sliding doors open to hear the sound of the waves lulling one to sleep. The morning sun shines on the Lanai so we often sit at the table on the Lanai to enjoy our breakfast and a cup of coffee. The Lanai is quite private even though it is directly across from the south building being on the 7th floor so we eat nearly all of our meals there instead of inside. The location of the condo is perfect. A couple of restaurants are within walking distance, as are gift and clothing shops, a fresh meat market, the Post Office, ice cream, grocery, and places to rent boats and bikes. Just down the beach to the south is the Point of Rocks where there is an abundance of shells and about a mile walk to the north is the Public Beach where, if you are fortunate, you may find a sand dollar or two. The Village of Siesta Key is a short drive to the north. Located just to the north of the bridge on Stickney Point Road on Midnight Pass gives us easy access to Gary's condo at Crescent Arms. Gary has been exceptionally accommodating, keeps good communication with us and provides us with any information that we need to have an enjoyable vacation."
