"So very happy with our stay!!! LOVELY classic beach house, great retro feel with modern convenience. The pool was a blessing with 3 young kids....they can play at the ocean, but then can come back & be safe in a VERY secure sparkling private pool!!! Excellent location to everything, and private beach access a big plus....we will definitely be back!!!! Thank you so much Brian!!!!!"

"Overall we were thrilled with our one month stay in March 2015. The condo unit is clean and uncluttered, and it is stocked with everything you might need- enough dishes, glasses, silverware, towels, etc. The king sized bed is comfortable, albeit a bit soft. A good sized closet fit our suitcases and clothing, and there is plenty of drawer space in the two bureaus.
The unit is in a single level building so there is no one above or below you. We came to appreciate the location of the unit- not too close to the pools in the complex, but just a short walk to them. It is also far enough off the street so there is no traffic noise. It was a 2 or 3 minute walk down a pleasantly landscaped and paved path to the absolutely gorgeous private beach. Chairs are provided by the complex- they replaced most of them with brand new chairs this month, and they were always available, even during the busiest weeks in March. We also spent a lot of time on the outdoor patio outside our unit, which looks out to a well maintained grassy area. The grass was always cut, and the pools were heated and clean. Parking was easy- right in front of the unit, and access to trash and recycle bins could not be more convenient.
Scott was very responsive to our needs. The glass sliding door needed some attention and he sent someone over to take care of it. He called or stopped by twice to make sure that we had everything we needed, and delivered a brand new microwave. We had no problem with the bathtub- it seemed to drain just fine. We tried putting in a new battery in the clock above the dining room table but it still didn’t work. It probably needs to be replaced..
The only complaint we had, which we talked to him about- was that the cleaner showed up to clean the unit at 3:40 pm, and let us in at 3:59 pm. It seemed unnecessary to have waited that long when the previous tenants were out of the unit by 11 am, and we wondered how much cleaning could have happened in that amount of time.
All in all, staying at this condo exceeded our expectations and we hope to return someday."

"We enjoyed our stay at CasaMar! Check in/out was easy and all staff were curteous. It is an older condo unit, but very well maintained. The unit is very spacious with vaulted ceilings and an open living space. The bed was super comfortable!! There were two beach chairs in the closet that we used every day!! You need beach umbrellas...we brought two from home but you might be able to pick up a couple at Goodwill which is right on 72. The sand is so white, you can sunburn easily if you aren't careful but the sand itself never gets hot! There are two pools, a tennis court and a shuffleboard court which are nice if you have kids. We spent most of our time on the most gorgeous beach I've seen, less than a five minute walk away!! We found lots of pretty shells in the shallow part of the surf!! There are lots of good restaurants, shopping, and other things to do close by. Only three things kept me from giving the unit five stars: TV in the living room needs two remotes to operate (a little confusing), wifi didn't work inside the unit (staff didn't know why...finally on the third day, we turned the router off for a few minutes and then back on and it worked fine after that...), and you can't actually see the ocean from the unit. These were minor things to us but thought I should mention them. We would definitely like to come back to CasaMar!! We would choose it over the fancy high rises and condos any day of the week!!"

"We spent a wonderful week in this immaculate and beautifully furnished condo. We were amazed the first time we stepped on the cool and soft white sand of the Siesta Key Beach that was right across the street. Our morning walks were a wonderful way to begin our days and our evening walks were rewarded with the most incredible sunsets. We can't wait to go back to the Ringling Museum and the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. There was just too much to do in one visit to either place. There were excellent restaurants to eat very close by. Our favorites were the Lobster Pot, Shakespeare's Pub, the Village Cafe, the Bonjour French Cafe and Another Broken Egg. We really enjoyed riding the bikes that were provided by the owners into the village. It made us feel a little better about all the extra delicious calories we were consuming. We made many special memories celebrating our 41st anniversary and my husband's 64th birthday and look forward to making many more."
