"We have stayed in many vacation rentals over the years, but we have never stayed in the beauty and quality of this home. The photos are very accurate of this superbly maintained unit. You will find the owners to be very caring about their guests needs...and willing to offer helpful suggestions. They are proud of their home - and it shows. We particularly liked the lovely newer kitchen, the first class appliances, and the well done bathroom updates. Just staying here gave us ideas for our own home...
The location was perfect. We could have coffee every morning on the lanai and watch the parade of boats go by on the Intercoastal - followed by a very short walk to the beach later...especially for the incredible sunsets. Being near the southern Siesta Key bridge gives you easy access to many restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping on the mainland...although you will want to take a short drive to the fun island village. We used the easy off/easy on to the island to travel the area for day excursions for golf and fantastic waterfront dining at night.
This home's amenities are amazing...Feel free to pack lightly. Basically, all you need are your clothes and a few groceries. You may just discover that you do not need sugar...There seems to be plenty of that in the sand on the beach already!
We would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful home with the highest ranking, and we would certainly rent here again."

"We enjoyed our stay at CasaMar! Check in/out was easy and all staff were curteous. It is an older condo unit, but very well maintained. The unit is very spacious with vaulted ceilings and an open living space. The bed was super comfortable!! There were two beach chairs in the closet that we used every day!! You need beach umbrellas...we brought two from home but you might be able to pick up a couple at Goodwill which is right on 72. The sand is so white, you can sunburn easily if you aren't careful but the sand itself never gets hot! There are two pools, a tennis court and a shuffleboard court which are nice if you have kids. We spent most of our time on the most gorgeous beach I've seen, less than a five minute walk away!! We found lots of pretty shells in the shallow part of the surf!! There are lots of good restaurants, shopping, and other things to do close by. Only three things kept me from giving the unit five stars: TV in the living room needs two remotes to operate (a little confusing), wifi didn't work inside the unit (staff didn't know why...finally on the third day, we turned the router off for a few minutes and then back on and it worked fine after that...), and you can't actually see the ocean from the unit. These were minor things to us but thought I should mention them. We would definitely like to come back to CasaMar!! We would choose it over the fancy high rises and condos any day of the week!!"

"This was the second year of renting this unit and it's already been booked for next November. Like all others in the complex, this unit has a beautiful water view, but what sets it apart is that it is a corner unit that has been expertly converted from a two to a three bedroom, offering plenty of private space for guests or children. The owner is very attentive and is continually adding upgrades to make an already fantastic experience even better. As a result, there is no shortage of beach towels, beach chairs, parasols, coolers, fishing rods, pool noodles, etc. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glassware, pots and pans and all kinds of extras. The complex is very well maintained with large and smaller heated pools, tennis courts, fitness rooms, a pool table and a private picnic area right beside the Intracoastal Waterway with two new Weber barbecues. What's best is that all of this is within steps of two waterfront restaurants/bars, a pub-style restaurant, a boat rental facility and Turtle Beach, where it's seldom busy and where you can walk your chairs over to catch stellar sunsets. I highly recommend this spot for those seeking a truly memorable vacation experience."

"My wife and I had another great time in this condo - second year in a row. We loved the weather, the views, the beach and the accommodations. It all made for a perfect way to re-charge the batteries, so to speak. The updated security and the switch to salt water in the beautiful pool were nice additions this year, as well. Looking forward to going back next year for sure."
