  • What you see and the description is accurate.

"This place is wonderful and I would go back in a heart beat. The kitchen has everything you could need. The bathroom has a wonderful shower. The beds were comfortable and the room is huge. The condo has fans everywhere, the ac works well, and the kitchen is great for cooking. Even the dishes are pretty! We used the screened in porch a lot. If is very private because of the hedges in front of it. The beach is a short walk through the complex. There are beach chairs provided on the beach and, if you don't care for sitting on plastic, there are two beach chairs on the porch that you can carry down. There is also a beach umbrella and a small cooler. The beach is beautiful although while we were there, there was seaweed all over that section of beach and we had to walk to a clear part to get in the water. I heard there was a storm in Tampa which may have caused that to happen. Anyway, because of it, there was lots of sea life washed ashore and we got to see all sorts of things in the seaweed. I threw plenty of mollusk and clams back into the ocean. The shells were fun to collect. If I had to give a con about this complex I would say the pools. From what I could tell, they weren't cleaned daily. I noticed the bottoms were dirty which meant someone didn't vacuum on a regular basis. We didn't use them so it was no big deal for us. Also, it would be nice if one was considered an adult pool (no children under 18) and one a children's pool. Each time we thought we would use the pools, there were lots of yelling kids in them so we didn't bother. Not my idea of fun since I've been there, done that!! If you go into the village of Siesta Key (which I recommend), go to the restaurant called The Hub. It has the best margaritas and good food. Also, on Monday and Tuesday night the funniest singer/performer. We would have been there every night if he was performing. He is so much fun! Stay away from the place called Gilligan's Island. Food and drinks not worth it. Added bonus to this place...they have a resident Egret. He will come right up to you if he thinks you are going to feed him. One person gave him a can of tuna (yes they eat fish and bugs) and he was sitting right at the guys feet. At night, after watching the sunset, we came back to see another bird digging for food in the grass. It was beautiful too and different from the egret. Also there are little lizards running around and they are adorable."

  • Romantic and Relaxing Retreat!

"We spent a wonderful week in this immaculate and beautifully furnished condo. We were amazed the first time we stepped on the cool and soft white sand of the Siesta Key Beach that was right across the street. Our morning walks were a wonderful way to begin our days and our evening walks were rewarded with the most incredible sunsets. We can't wait to go back to the Ringling Museum and the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. There was just too much to do in one visit to either place. There were excellent restaurants to eat very close by. Our favorites were the Lobster Pot, Shakespeare's Pub, the Village Cafe, the Bonjour French Cafe and Another Broken Egg. We really enjoyed riding the bikes that were provided by the owners into the village. It made us feel a little better about all the extra delicious calories we were consuming. We made many special memories celebrating our 41st anniversary and my husband's 64th birthday and look forward to making many more."

  • Grrat stay - two years in a row

"This condo unit is awesome! From the location and proximity to the resort and beach to all the "extra" amenities provided. Spoke to several guests who did not have anything available in the units. Lynn does a great job at offering extra conveniences like beach gear, beach towels, laundry cards and much more. Thank you and see you next year!"

  • Spacious Unit Near Siesta Key Beach

"The beach is beautiful & Siesta Key is a walker's paradise. The Village is 2 miles north with Stickney Point Rd a half mile south. Plenty of good restaurants & shops nearby. Loved renting bikes & also kayaks near Turtle Beach. Photos on VRBO accurately depict the unit. Owner was responsive ahead of our visit, we did not require any interaction during our stay. The unit was clean upon our arrival. Unit has normal wear & tear to be expected from a rental unit and I would describe the overall condition as good. Things we liked best about the place included: 1) Spacious unit offering plenty of room for a family to spread out with 2 BRs/2 baths upstairs plus 1 BR & a half bath downstairs; 2) Pool was located steps out the back door that was great for reading/relaxing & offered a mix of sun or shade most of the day; 3) Complex has ample lounge chairs to help relax at the beach and the beach-side pool/restrooms are a nice convenience; 4) Complex has an updated fitness center that we enjoyed using several times. Minor drawbacks about the unit included: 1) Road noise -- the unit is right on Midnight Pass Rd and you will hear noise from the street in the downstairs BR and upstairs guest BR. Road noise is not an issue in the living room or master BR; 2) Due to surrounding trees/foliage, the unit is dark and doesn't get much sunlight in the living room or lanai. The beach is about a 7-8 minute walk across Midnight Pass Rd. We did not mind this distance and spent much time enjoying the beautiful sand & walking along the gulf. With smaller children, getting back & forth to the beach may be more of a consideration. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this unit. Every rental has its pluses & minuses and I hope our balanced comments will be helpful to future travelers as they evaluate rental options."
