"Adequate. The propose of the stay was not strictly vacation. We were in the Sarasota Area for other reasons and was more of a working vacation. When not working, plenty of things to do on the Key and area."

"The beach is beautiful & Siesta Key is a walker's paradise. The Village is 2 miles north with Stickney Point Rd a half mile south. Plenty of good restaurants & shops nearby. Loved renting bikes & also kayaks near Turtle Beach.
Photos on VRBO accurately depict the unit. Owner was responsive ahead of our visit, we did not require any interaction during our stay. The unit was clean upon our arrival. Unit has normal wear & tear to be expected from a rental unit and I would describe the overall condition as good. Things we liked best about the place included: 1) Spacious unit offering plenty of room for a family to spread out with 2 BRs/2 baths upstairs plus 1 BR & a half bath downstairs; 2) Pool was located steps out the back door that was great for reading/relaxing & offered a mix of sun or shade most of the day; 3) Complex has ample lounge chairs to help relax at the beach and the beach-side pool/restrooms are a nice convenience; 4) Complex has an updated fitness center that we enjoyed using several times.
Minor drawbacks about the unit included: 1) Road noise -- the unit is right on Midnight Pass Rd and you will hear noise from the street in the downstairs BR and upstairs guest BR. Road noise is not an issue in the living room or master BR; 2) Due to surrounding trees/foliage, the unit is dark and doesn't get much sunlight in the living room or lanai.
The beach is about a 7-8 minute walk across Midnight Pass Rd. We did not mind this distance and spent much time enjoying the beautiful sand & walking along the gulf. With smaller children, getting back & forth to the beach may be more of a consideration.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this unit. Every rental has its pluses & minuses and I hope our balanced comments will be helpful to future travelers as they evaluate rental options."

"Such a great spot! Beautiful view of the water and a few steps away. Very clean and comfortable condo. All the small amenities you can think of. Nice to have a king size bed too.Within walking distance of town and easy driving access to other spots. It is a "little slice of heaven". We were really able to relax. Thanks Bob"

"Loved our family vacation on Siesta Key. This was our family's first trip to the Florida Gulf Coast and I don't think we could find a better location than Siesta Key to experience it .
This home is beautiful, very comfortable, and well maintained. You can have lunch out by the pool and cocktails on the rooftop enjoying the beautiful sunset. It was very well equipped, beautifully furnished, clean, and I can't think of anything more you would need. The location can't be beat. Easy short walk to the beach and the village restaurants. The beach area located near the home was not crowded at the time of our stay. If you walk a little ways down the beach there is a shallow sand bar a little way off shore that you can wade out to and find many seashells and whole sand dollars (near beach access 5 off of Beach Rd.) My 4 yr old granddaughters loved going to the beach every day. They also enjoyed the small pool. The home was stocked with some beach toys, beach chairs, umbrellas, a cooler and a cart to carry most of it which made it very easy to just walk and set up on the beach every day. We did drive one day to the main Siesta Beach area and to be honest, we liked the beach area near the home and village better.
We chose Siesta Key because we have family nearby in the Sarasota/Bradenton area that we wanted to visit. We had such a fun and relaxing time we are thinking we need come back soon for another visit!
The only warning - there are a lot of stairs, two bedrooms on the 3rd floor and one bedroom (twin room) off the kitchen, living area on 2nd floor. Pool and game room on 1st, rooftop on 4th. There is an elevator for traveler's who need it, a bit slower to get where you want to go but nice to have especially when taking your luggage up and down."
