  • Great House with Unrivaled Location

"My family and I recently rented this house for a week and I highly recommend it. The reason we chose this house was the location and we were not disappointed. This house has water on two sides and gives an unparalleled view of Siesta Beach as well as the gulf depending on which of the many decks you are on or which direction you looked. Many people on the beach asked us if it was our house and commented on how cool it looked and how it had an amazing location. My parents said it made them feel like the 'rich and famous!' The house itself is very spacious with more than enough room for the six of us who stayed there. The rooms are all big enough for family time together, but also spread out enough for private time as well. The house is definitely a 70's style house but is very well maintained and has nice, comfortable leather furniture in many rooms. Some of the external screen doors to the decks were a bit worn and hard to maneuver, but for a doors exposed to gulf weather 365 days a year it was understandable. The only mildly negative thing I can think of is the beach beneath the private beach access stairs appear to have eroded away leaving about a two and half foot step down after the last step. My mother has a bum hip and had a bit of trouble getting up and down the stairs. I spent some time and engineered some new steps out of rocks and concrete slabs that were nearby and that made it much easier for her, but I suspect the surf and weather will wash my make ship steps away before too long. Beaches and sand raise and lower all the time so we weren't too too bothered by this, but I suspect those stairs may need more permanent work at some point. As a whole we were very happy with the house and we are already making plans to come back next year."

  • Can't get any closer to the beach! Adorable little cottage.

"Great little unit tucked away on Siesta Key. The unit was a great find for my husband and I. My brother lives less than a mile away so we had lots of opportunity to spend time together. We are not fans of condos or hotels. This was cozy, clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. There was plenty of storage space to stash everything away so it was neat at all times. The kitchen is small but it lacks nothing. We ate out most of the time. Senor Siesta was an awesome find. Delicious Latin Cuisine. My brother, who has lived on Siesta Key for 25 years, hadn't even heard of this one. The grill was handy. The private patio was our favorite spot. With the gate open we could see the beach. Had a lazy day one day and curled up in the very comfortable living room with a good book. The bed was very comfortable. Manager Jim was very helpful and most accommodating. Thanks for a wonderful stay!"

  • Great Place--Excellent Location

"We enjoyed our week-long stay. The condo is well appointed, well furnished and very clean. The owners have attended to many details that we don't see in other places we stay. The kitchen is well equipped with great dishes, cookware, storage containers and utensils. The view is excellent--right across the street from the beach. The agency staff on site are very helpful. It's a short walk (by Canal Rd) to the village, a grocery and shops. It's only a couple of miles south to Turtle Beach if you prefer a beach that is a little more laid back and quiet."
