  • Fern Haven Cottage

"My husband and I just spent a week at the Fern Haven Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The studio cottage was clean, well-stocked with all you could need, and perfect for a couple, with a beautiful lush patio for grilling or enjoying breakfast to the sounds of the birds chirping. We thought we'd have preferred something closer to the beach but ended up really enjoying this location along the canal, especially since we could jump in the provided kayak in the morning for a row. At the same time, it was still a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and a grocery store. Rich was great. He greeted us to show us around the place, made great restaurant suggestions, and made us feel at home from the start."

  • Beach Idyll

"If you are looking for a comfortable haven on a beautiful beach, this is the place. On the top floor of a condo tower, this one bedroom apartment has everything necessary to enjoying a restful and relaxing week away, including, if you are ambitious, a well-appointed kitchen. The beach is an elevator ride and a few steps to the warm waters of the Gulf, and beach furniture is conveniently provided. The screened lanai with table and four chairs affords a view of sand and sea and is a great place for entertaining friends. The big bed provides elegant comfort caressed by fresh breezes from the open windows. Excellent restaurants are within easy walking distance and add a touch of culinary class to this romantic retreat."

  • Siesta Key is heaven

"This is our 15th year vacationing in siesta key! We were extremely grateful we found this unit in midnight cove 2. Not only were the dates flexible, but the condo was beautiful. Very clean and updated. We felt right at home. Everything we needed was included in the condo, (towels, kitchen utensils, beach toys, boogie boards) which made our stay with kids that much easier. The first floor location, overlooking the boat docks was incredibly relaxing, and very convenient to the beach and the pool. Everything was a quick walk. Even crescent grocery and captain kurts was within 5 min walking distance. We are so pleased with the condo, and hope to be staying again next year! Thank you!"

  • Christmas Break 2014

"My family really enjoyed our stay at House of the Sun. This was our first visit and we'd return in a heartbeat. The beach was fantastic, ideal for long walks, swimming and sunning and family games. Very family-friendly, and felt perfectly safe even in the late evening with just a few people around. The area is very quiet after dark, which may be important to families craving a low-key spot. There's a couple of popular bars/restaurants with patios across the street from the complex that play music but we couldn't hear it inside the condominium. There's a grocery store conveniently located across the street, as well as a pharmacy, and some other shops. The condo was clean and comfortable. The king bed in the master was comfortable for us, while our tall teen son was a little less comfortable in a twin bed in the second bedroom. Having a washer/dryer in the unit let us travel light for the week. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and was well-stocked with dish soap and even coffee filters. The office staff are very responsive, and solved a couple of minor concerns we had within minutes. We arrived after the office had closed on Saturday, and getting our keys from the lockbox was no problem. Though it wasn't hot while we were there, I'm sure the covered parking is appreciated by guests visiting in the warmer months. The pool was spotlessly clean and comfortably warm for swimming."
