  • Amazing vacation!

"This condo is beautiful, and very well kept. We loved being so close to the public beach. The photos are accurate and the decor is adorable! I LOVED the beach themes! :) We will definitely be back in future years. This is our favorite place to vacation, and now we have a favorite place to stay!"

  • Spacious Unit Near Siesta Key Beach

"The beach is beautiful & Siesta Key is a walker's paradise. The Village is 2 miles north with Stickney Point Rd a half mile south. Plenty of good restaurants & shops nearby. Loved renting bikes & also kayaks near Turtle Beach. Photos on VRBO accurately depict the unit. Owner was responsive ahead of our visit, we did not require any interaction during our stay. The unit was clean upon our arrival. Unit has normal wear & tear to be expected from a rental unit and I would describe the overall condition as good. Things we liked best about the place included: 1) Spacious unit offering plenty of room for a family to spread out with 2 BRs/2 baths upstairs plus 1 BR & a half bath downstairs; 2) Pool was located steps out the back door that was great for reading/relaxing & offered a mix of sun or shade most of the day; 3) Complex has ample lounge chairs to help relax at the beach and the beach-side pool/restrooms are a nice convenience; 4) Complex has an updated fitness center that we enjoyed using several times. Minor drawbacks about the unit included: 1) Road noise -- the unit is right on Midnight Pass Rd and you will hear noise from the street in the downstairs BR and upstairs guest BR. Road noise is not an issue in the living room or master BR; 2) Due to surrounding trees/foliage, the unit is dark and doesn't get much sunlight in the living room or lanai. The beach is about a 7-8 minute walk across Midnight Pass Rd. We did not mind this distance and spent much time enjoying the beautiful sand & walking along the gulf. With smaller children, getting back & forth to the beach may be more of a consideration. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this unit. Every rental has its pluses & minuses and I hope our balanced comments will be helpful to future travelers as they evaluate rental options."

  • Perfect Vacation Spot

"The house is very well maintained and spotlessly clean. My group was 4 Adults and 1 child (10 yr old). Mimi was very responsive and clearly had our interests at heart. She gave us a brief tour when we arrived and made sure to point out all the amenities available. The house is on the canal, and in a quiet neighborhood. The amenities Mimi has provided are impeccable. There are noodles (for swimming) beach chairs, beach towels, sand buckets, shopping carts, table tennis table (and paddles and balls) Kayaks, a canoe, fishing gear (including poles, weights, lines etc), beach bags, pool volleyball set, 6 bicycles etc etc etc. Honestly, we were all blown away by what was provided. The house is even better. 3 bedrooms (enough for 6) comfy beds, extra linens, towels, blankets, pillows. 2 bathrooms (one with a tub), lanai for enjoying the evening breezes. The pool was great and well maintained (pool guy came during the week to clean & service) and we spent many evenings sitting by the dock, enjoying the breeze. The kitchen comes fully stocked with anything one could think of to cook with (including crock pot, blender, toaster oven, dishwasher, huge fridge, electric stove) There's a washer and dryer in the garage that worked like a dream and was big enough to hold several days towels and clothing) The A/C was great too, as it gets hot in August! The beach is a quick 2 block walk, and Mimi provided carts to haul all the beach gear. The village is a little farther, definitely walkable. She also provides a manual that gives you a lot of options in Siesta Key for fun. The house is on a huge lot and has very nice landscaping and is beautifully decorated inside. We all had one of the best vacations we have experienced; aided in no small part by Mimi and the canal house. I would highly recommend it, and we plan on visiting again ASAP! Thanks, Mimi!"

  • Best Vacation

"We have spent many years vacationing and Spring Breaking in Siesta Key. This vacation was by far our best, due in large part to the accommodations. The condo was all we could ask for and then some. The condo was perfectly appointed and was truly home away from home. The location was perfect. We greatly enjoyed the live music nightly, the BBQs nightly on the porch, walking distance t everything we needed. The condo was everything it was advertised to be . . . unusual given past experience. We will stay again!!"
