"My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this home very much. It was very clean, had everything we needed, and was in a quiet neighbourhood. We really enjoyed the outdoor space. I had my coffee in the lanai each morning, enjoying the morning sun and watching the beautiful birds along the edge of the lake. On the last morning we had a visit from a large turtle. The home was close to shopping, beaches, and golf. While visiting we golfed at Lake Venice golf club..they don't take tee times which led to waiting in line to pay and then to get carts. We dined at the Crows Nest. Fresh fish daily...but a little pricy...great service and views. We drive to Siesta Beach which really is beautiful. We went to a great arts and craft market which was held while we were there. Each time we walked the beach we saw dolphins. We went to the south jetty where we also saw dolphins. Overall, we had a great time and loved this home as a place to start and end each day. Also, the side garden of the house is very pretty. Angela was great to deal with, too. Any questions we had were answered promptly and pleasantly. We would stay here again if we were in the area."

"Our family spent 2 weeks enjoying this beautiful home. The layout was perfect for our visit and the owners had all the extras needed for our grandchild. The neighborhood is very peaceful yet close to everything. (Try Cassariano Italian Eatery in Venice for a delicious meal.) We loved having our coffee on the lanai each morning and watching the golf course activity. We look forward to coming back to stay in the future!"

"My family and I try to pick a different vacation spot every summer. This summer (July 2015) we decided to look towards the west coast of Florida. After finding this villa, we quickly got in touch with Sandy and got it reserved. It had everything our 10 person group could ask for (ages from 3 – 66).
The Villa: Great location down the end of a short dirt road. You really feel ‘hidden’ away from everything. The 2 master bedrooms were comfortable and both opened up to the pool area. The living room area meshed nicely with the kitchen. We really spent a ton of our time outside under the lanai eating, playing games, relaxing and enjoying the pool. The garage was fully stocked with bikes, pool toys and chairs to use on the beach.
The Beach: Manasota Beach is just about a half a mile down the road. They provide ample parking, bathrooms and a picnic area for your convenience. The beach is very ‘shelly’. It has tons of shells and you can get lost in time walking and picking up the various shells you come across. It’s also home to a lot of turtle nests and some extremely gorgeous sunsets. The water in the Gulf is warmer and the waves are a bit smaller compared to the Atlantic Ocean side. If you drive down the Key, you will have wonderful views of the Gulf (and some of the Bay) and end up at Stump Pass Beach State Park. This a beautiful area to go exploring and get lost in the serenity of everything.
Miscellaneous: There is a Publix, Wal-Mart and Target right down the road, so any food or general thing you might need is within very close proximity. We primarily cooked our own meals, but the restaurant choices seemed pretty good.
Bottom Line: This ended up being one of my favorite vacation spots. The owner, Sandy, was a pleasure to work with and very responsive. I highly recommend this villa for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the beauty of west coast Florida!"
