  • Great Vacation Stay at Sundial K405

"This was our second time staying at Sundial West K405. We love that everything we need for an enjoyable vacation is provided. This unit sleeps 6 in beds. The Murphy bed in the den was used by my mother and she said she slept well. The kitchen is well equipped, the furniture comfortable, and the view from the large expanse of windows leading to the lanai is exceptional. The beach is just a few steps away and shelling is a blast. The storage closet had so much beach equipment, toys, bikes etc for us to use. If you have a baby, Marjorie has pack 'n play, exersaucer, highchair. We hope to return to this unit again next year."

  • Perfect location, spacious house

"The house was very complete with kitchen items, towels, etc. It was a short walk to the beach - friendly neighbors gather to watch the sunset. The only problem was the ac - but that can happen any time and the owners were very responsive. But, if you are bringing a two year old, go in first to child proof - they have some lovely and fragile things to move out of the way!"

  • Charming beach cottage!

"We rented this charming beach cottage Christmas week and had a fabulous time there! From the minute we arrived and stepped in the front door, we were impressed! The place is immaculately clean...it is spic & span. The cottage is decorated beachy chic very tastefully done. It had everything we needed and more. Even had twinkling xmas lights wrapped around deck. What a nice touch by Michelle since we were there at Xmas. The kitchen is well equiped, the bathroom was spotless, linen closet well stocked with soft, thick bath towels & also big beach towels. The outside has a nice deck and also a patio table & umbrella in the side yard. There are beach chairs and a beach cart to haul all your stuff to the beach. Michelle has gone out of her way to ensure a great place to stay. As far as the location, it is central to everything- couple blocks to beach, a block to trolley stop, two blocks to little general store. As for restaurants, in the morning we'd walk couple blocks to Ginny&Jane's neat funky bakery/cafe, mid-day at the Sandbar restaurant where you can have your toes in the sand eating lunch is only a couple blocks away, and then a few more blocks away but still walkable is the little downtown area of Anna Maria with a few more restaurants. The absolute best fish we had was fresh caught red grouper and red snapper from Captain Anthony's who has a little screened in place right off the road before the Sandbar restaurant. He fishes in the morning and then sells it in tbe afternoon. He cuts & fillets the amount of fish that you want in front of you & then gives suggestions on cooking it. Delish! Another note is that Michelle is terrific to work with. She was the very first one to reply to the queries I sent when we first started checking. She was also faster than a speeding bullet in responding to any of my emails. We truly enjoyed a lovely week of carefree days spent at the beach and family time together in the evenings in this charming cozy comfy beach cottage."

  • Perfect Location!

"This was our first time visiting Marco Island and we did our research as to pick the best place to stay. I have to say that this condo was the best place to stay! The place was big, clean, and comfortable. We had 4 adults and 3 kids and there was plenty of room for everyone. They had everything we needed for the most part (had to buy toilet paper, as there was only one roll when we got there) but we went to the store for food and things so it was no biggie (we actually used some of the unused rolls of tp to wrap our shells in for travel home!) The beach is, like most reviews will tell you, ALL shell! You can find some pure sand in spots, but it is mostly shell. We found so many, we couldnt even handle all the shells we were finding. A few properties down the beach (we walked down to go parasailing) have pure sand, so if you need that you can always walk for it. We saw dophins from the beach, two were even chasing a fish it was cute. We saw a huge stingray jump out of the water, which was cool. There was a little one by the beach right by our feet, but it just swam off. Sand dollars, starfish, snails and crabs are all just about 15 ft from the beach - we loved it! The restaurant in the building is ok, it was pretty expensive so we only ate there once. Several places to eat around the island, but all are going to cost more than average. We went to the everaglades and did an airboat tour - probably our favorite thing! We also went deep sea fishing and shelling. I do have to say, if you stay here, you may not want to waste your money on a shelling trip, cause although its cool to take a boat to a deserted island, all the shells you find out there are right here on your beach! We didnt find anything different out there. But a fun boat ride. My family will definitly be back, and when we do, we will book this condo for sure - best one in the building."
