"This is a wonderful condo. The interior was very comfortable and beautifully appointed. The kitchen was very well equipped. We've stayed in other places where there were a few threadbare towels .. not here; lots of fluffy towels .. even lots of great beach towels. The kayaks were a favorite feature for us .. very easy to maneuver -- we had lots of fun kayaking the creeks and out to the bay. The bikes were used quite a bit too. I highly recommend this condo to people who love being near the water and love to fish."Guest: Maggie Date of Stay: January 2013 Review Submitted: February 7, 2013View listing
"This was our first time renting a vacation home from owner. The condo and location were exactly as described. The owner was very informative and helpful. Directions were easy to follow and she replied promptly to my e-mails. Photos of the condo were very accurate and the kitchen and other supplies were more than adequate. We would definitely rent this condo if we vacation in this area again. The weather, the beach and the ocean were what we wanted as we come from a cold, land-landed locked climate and we were not disappointed."Guest: Sun-seekers Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: April 24, 2014View listing
"We were 4 adults, retired, rented for the month of March 2012. The home is extremely well equipped with kayaks, bikes and 2 boat lifts. It was clean and ready for us on arrival. The owners were very easy to deal with and made our arrival and departure easy. We biked nearly everyday on the well maintained paths and roads. It is a very quiet area of Florida with little traffic, probably because there are no big public beaches. The water is shallow and must be navigated with the tides in mind. A couple of good restaurants with in short distances. There is a golf couse nearby and it is a short trip to Ft Meyers for activities. It is a relaxing and quiet locale."Guest: srevac Date of Stay: March 2012 Review Submitted: May 10, 2012View listing
"This is our 4th yr staying at Greenlinks and first doing VRBO...don't want to give away this well kept secret, but it was very nice and cost saving dealing directly with owner/ owner's father. Definitely check out Tiger Tail beach in Marco (15-20 min away down Collier) if you want some beach time."Guest: Mish Date of Stay: March 2013 Review Submitted: April 7, 2013View listing
Useppa Island Travel Tips
Get Away From Crowded Beaches With Useppa Island Vacation Rentals
Useppa Island vacation rentals allow you to escape the crowded beaches that you'll find at other island locations in Southwest Florida. The entire island belongs to a private club focused on providing its members, guests, and owners with a place dedicated to recreation and relaxation. Leave your worries on the coast, located 15 minutes from the island by boat.
Step Into History With Useppa Island Condos
People have inhabited Useppa Island for over 10,000 years, and it was a stopping place for nomadic peoples who roamed the Florida area in prehistoric times. Visitors to the island will see signs like the shell middens left by the Calusa tribe, a native people who developed a complex society on the island. Later, pirates used the island as a prison for hostages before John M. Roach bought the property in 1894 and built the first hotel. Vacation rentals in Useppa Island allow you to access relics left from the different eras.
