"We stayed at this wonderful home for three months this winter. It is beautifully furnished and VERY clean. It was exactly what we were looking for! We are just winding down from a great winter at this wonderful resort community known as Pelican Preserve. We would highly recommend this property! The owners were just wonderful!"Guest: David and Bonnie Date of Stay: January 2014 Review Submitted: March 25, 2014View listing
"First time I used VRBO, but certainly a great way to start. The condo was exactly as advertised. Clean, well appointed, and unbelievably close to everything we would want. The beach is one block up, and it couldn't have been easier to go to and come from. And it is only one block the other direction to shops and food. Naples is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Dade/Broward, or anywhere else, but renting this place made our visit so nice and convenient. Having parking also made life a lot better. There was everything we needed for the week, including a fully stocked kitchen, which allowed us the chance to eat in whenever we wanted. One last thing to mention was the master bed. So comfortable!! We are already trying to figure out our next trip there, and we will absolutely want to stay in this condo again. Thanks Elaine and Charlie."Guest: Andy E Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 1, 2014View listing

"We arrived at the condo on Saturday and we were exhausted from the long drive. The condo felt homey and so very comfortable. After a few days of relaxing and getting familiar with our surroundings we started exploring the area. The pool area was perfect - everyone was so friendly and informative. It was a joy to return to our beautiful condo after venturing out - it has every amenity you want - as good as being in my own kitchen. The condo is decorated with great taste. The view was great and it was a pleasure sitting on the lanai in total peacefulness. Perfect place to rest and close to wonderful restaurants. We enjoyed our walks every day and felt safe. Santini mall was so handy and the Wyndgate across the street was perfect for leisurely drinks and dinner at Pinchers. Beaches across the street was an extra feature that was new to us. It was great. Thank you Diego for being so quick with any of our requests. We hope to return in the very near future. I would highly recommend this great place."Guest: Dimples Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: November 18, 2014View listing
Useppa Island Travel Tips
Get Away From Crowded Beaches With Useppa Island Vacation Rentals
Useppa Island vacation rentals allow you to escape the crowded beaches that you'll find at other island locations in Southwest Florida. The entire island belongs to a private club focused on providing its members, guests, and owners with a place dedicated to recreation and relaxation. Leave your worries on the coast, located 15 minutes from the island by boat.
Step Into History With Useppa Island Condos
People have inhabited Useppa Island for over 10,000 years, and it was a stopping place for nomadic peoples who roamed the Florida area in prehistoric times. Visitors to the island will see signs like the shell middens left by the Calusa tribe, a native people who developed a complex society on the island. Later, pirates used the island as a prison for hostages before John M. Roach bought the property in 1894 and built the first hotel. Vacation rentals in Useppa Island allow you to access relics left from the different eras.
Enjoy Family Vacations With South West Waterfront Rentals
At Useppa Island, you'll find something for everyone. Most properties are close to beach, allowing easy access for fishing, boating, or other water sports. The club also hosts a pool, a Jacuzzi, basketball courts, croquet courts, and tennis courts.
Enjoy Florida Activities From Useppa Island Vacation Homes
Island life allows you to enjoy a variety of fun, including golf, tennis, and shelling. Take advantage of local shopping and dining or head to the beach for parasailing, snorkeling, diving, or swimming. Rent a kayak or a bike to explore off-the-road places. Boca Grande, Pine Island, Cayo Costa, and Captiva are nearby towns accessible by boat that also offer activities for individuals and families.
