  • Comfortable and relaxing

"Our family of 3 had a wonderful experience staying at this unit for 2 months in the summer. Beds are very comfortable and the couches are oversized and very cozy. The kitchen is well equipped and functional. The view of the golf course is nice and we saw many animals such as deer, turkeys, and an alligator in the lake below. It was very quiet and the pool was close by and inviting. John and Debbie were very nice and easy to work with during our stay."

  • Hurray for pet lovers!

"I needed a place to stay in North Port. I was getting desperate, since nobody would rent to the owner of a dog that weighs "more than 25lbs" We ran across this listing and it was just perfect. It isn't a resort, but a nice, comfortable place to stay for a while. It's in a cute, quiet neighborhood and close to lots of places. Best of all, in my budget. The owner was a delight to work with."

  • Great Month

"If you are looking for a great place to spend a month or more in sunny Southwest Florida this is the place for you. The kitchen is well supplied and the furniture is comfortable. There is an entertainment center featuring a large LCD TV, DVD player with several movies available and a terrific high speed modem and router that easily connected to our laptop and smart phones. The complex is beautifully landscaped and very well maintained. The large pool is the focal point for guest activity and is a great place to meet others if you so desire. The convenient location of the complex provides quick access to restaurants (5-10 min), grocery stores (5 min.), Bell Tower Mall (7 min.), Lakes Park (10 min.), downtown (15 min), and beaches (15-20 min). We enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to returning."

  • Great location, great condo!

"We stayed at this very nice condo for a week and couldn't have been any happier. Anne, the owner, was very responsive and attentive to our needs and replied immediately to any minor concerns that we had. The condo is in a great location, only a five minute walk to one of the best beaches ever--Vanderbilt Beach. The condo was well-equipped and comfortable for the six people in our party. Not to mention the great views! We would definitely consider renting here again. Thanks Anne!"

Useppa Island Travel Tips

Get Away From Crowded Beaches With Useppa Island Vacation Rentals

Useppa Island vacation rentals allow you to escape the crowded beaches that you'll find at other island locations in Southwest Florida. The entire island belongs to a private club focused on providing its members, guests, and owners with a place dedicated to recreation and relaxation. Leave your worries on the coast, located 15 minutes from the island by boat.

Step Into History With Useppa Island Condos

People have inhabited Useppa Island for over 10,000 years, and it was a stopping place for nomadic peoples who roamed the Florida area in prehistoric times. Visitors to the island will see signs like the shell middens left by the Calusa tribe, a native people who developed a complex society on the island. Later, pirates used the island as a prison for hostages before John M. Roach bought the property in 1894 and built the first hotel. Vacation rentals in Useppa Island allow you to access relics left from the different eras.

Enjoy Family Vacations With South West Waterfront Rentals

At Useppa Island, you'll find something for everyone. Most properties are close to beach, allowing easy access for fishing, boating, or other water sports. The club hosts a variety of events throughout the high season for children, including activities like treasure hunts, fishing tournaments for kids, and coloring contests. The club also hosts a pool, a Jacuzzi, basketball courts, croquet courts, and tennis courts.

Enjoy Florida Activities From Useppa Island Vacation Homes

Island life allows you to enjoy a variety of fun, including golf, tennis, and shelling. Take advantage of local shopping and dining or head to the beach for parasailing, snorkeling, diving, or swimming. Rent a kayak or a bike to explore off-the-road places. Boca Grande, Pine Island, Cayo Costa, and Captiva are nearby towns accessible by boat that also offer activities for individuals and families.
