"My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this home very much. It was very clean, had everything we needed, and was in a quiet neighbourhood. We really enjoyed the outdoor space. I had my coffee in the lanai each morning, enjoying the morning sun and watching the beautiful birds along the edge of the lake. On the last morning we had a visit from a large turtle. The home was close to shopping, beaches, and golf. While visiting we golfed at Lake Venice golf club..they don't take tee times which led to waiting in line to pay and then to get carts. We dined at the Crows Nest. Fresh fish daily...but a little pricy...great service and views. We drive to Siesta Beach which really is beautiful. We went to a great arts and craft market which was held while we were there. Each time we walked the beach we saw dolphins. We went to the south jetty where we also saw dolphins. Overall, we had a great time and loved this home as a place to start and end each day. Also, the side garden of the house is very pretty. Angela was great to deal with, too. Any questions we had were answered promptly and pleasantly. We would stay here again if we were in the area."

Better than expected - more pleased the pleased could be!
"I rented this house the second week of August 2015. The house excelled past my expectations. I travel a lot and often outside the country using VRBO and am never disappointed. This house was one of the best. It was so much more pretty, exceptionally clean, and had bookoo amenities than I expected. The pool was small but definitely enough space for our family and the convenience of a private pool right outside could not be better. The hot tub was so soothing and relaxing. The house had nice big beach towels, a cooler, chairs, toys, floats, boogie boards, and an umbrella for the beach. There were board games, cards, VHS movies, and nice TVs in every room. Each night I dried the beach towels for the next day in the dryer in the garage with smelly dryer sheets. The tap water in Venice, Florida has an absolutely horrific taste. The kitchen sink has a water purifier which makes it drinkable. I could not even stand having the tap ice in my drinks, but the house had ice trays which I used with the filtered water. The beach is only 7 min away and the house is convenient for all shopping needs. ONLY complaints (and they are a MINOR) were only two toilet paper rolls for a house for 6 girls, no paper towels, and only a small amount of dish washing liquid. I brought with me dish washing liquid and a paper towel roll but I had to go buy toilet paper. A must stay home that will satisfy all your needs and some you did not know you wanted or needed. I will try and rent this house again next year!"

"The location of the Sandpiper House is awesome! It is a very quiet neighborhood and one walking minute to the beach! Downtown is super charming and the people very friendly. Enjoyed eating at the Daiquiri Deck and Sharky's...all within walking distance. Had fun looking for shark teeth! Even though the home is older, it is well maintained. The only downfall would be pet stains on the carpeting from previous renters. Would recommend getting them professionally cleaned. However, we would stay here again in the future! :)"
