  • We'll be back!!!

"I normally don't do reviews, but I wanted to do this one..... My family & I had the opportunity to spend 2 wonderful weeks in this lovely home. Warm & inviting, well-equipped & immaculate, with all the amenities one needs for whatever kind of stay you could want, it was truly a home, not a house. Ours was a more laid-back visit, enjoying the luxury of nighttime stargazing in the hot tub, card games in the lanai, backyard sun worshipping in the early mornings. Being on Venice Island, we were able to enjoy the incredible sunsets, taking advantage of the easy access to various beaches, & successfully carting home numerous shark tooth treasures. The restaurants, the shopping, the movies, the theater, are all within a short car ride, a bike ride, or a walk. We could not have asked for a more perfect stay, & you can be sure..... we'll be back!!!"

  • Fabulous Two Month Vacation Stay

"We had an absolutely fantastic two month vacation stay in this lovely luxury home ! This rental property is VERY accurately profiled in its ad and photographs, and has no flaws in our humble opinion. My wife particularly enjoyed every day of our stay spending 2 to 3 hours in its the beautiful and private heated pool that is considerably larger than the photo might suggest. Given its computer-controlled attractive waterfall feature and spa jets, she had little reason to travel the short distance to Bellagio's own handsome community pool and clubhouse/gym. We did frequently travel less than 5 minutes to Venice's serene and uncrowded beach and gulfside Sharkey's bar & restaurant. The attractions of historic downtown Venice with a broad array of quaint shops and numerous quality restaurants was equally close within five minutes drive time. The floor plan of this home is extraordinary intelligent and should suit a wide range of vacationing family sizes. Some years ago we ourselves came close to purchasing a similar home in Boca Raton that also featured a private "casita" third bedroom and bath unit off the home's central courtyard pool. We have often lamented that bad decision, and staying here only reinforced that emotion. The master bedroom's spacious & comfortable desk and executive chair, computer, and wireless broadband internet service allowed us to stay in close contact with family and friends. The deluxe Maytag Neptune washer and dryer in a separate and spacious air conditioned laundry room allowed us to accomplish that task with ease. The large and modern full-featured kitchen with complete range of stainless steel appliances and utensils was all any gourmet chef would need. The propane BBQ grill in the pool courtyard with outdoor table & chairs provided a more informal way to dine on occasion. The homeowners were a delight to deal with and very responsive to our every need. We look forward to returning often to this great rental property and highly recommend it to other Florida travelers.... Richard & Eleanor from New Jersey & Hawaii"

  • A belated note of thanks for a clean & well-stocked condo -- perfect location & warmest pool ever!

"We stayed for a month in October 2008 -- sorry for the lateness of this feedback! The condo itself was the cleanest we've ever rented, and stocked with everything we needed. The complex was quiet, the neighbors were friendly, the furniture was comfy and the pool was so wonderfully warm -- spoiled us for every place we've been since! The location couldn't be better -- walking distance to stores & restaurants, and just a few minute drive into downtown Venice and the beaches. Just as importantly, communication with the owner was exceptional and the price was right too. Would definitely recommend."

Venice Travel Tips

Venice Vacation Rentals for Beach Lovers

Southwest Florida has many vacation-worthy areas to offer beach lovers. Located in Sarasota County with a perfect year-round climate, Venice is one of the nicest spots in south Florida. And Venice vacation rentals, offering privacy, extra space and amenities, make a tropical getaway even nicer.

Venice Beaches

In addition to lovely beaches, Venice is known as the shark-tooth finding capital of Florida. More fossilized sharks teeth are found here than anywhere! The beaches in southwest Florida are numerous; if you are a beach-lover, make sure you allot plenty of time for exploring.

The longest and most secluded beach in Sarasota County is Casperson Beach, which has been left in its natural state rather than being commercialized. If you love to snorkel, the Venice Municipal Beach is the place to go, with a beautiful coral reef just one mile off shore. Just a short drive from the Municipal Beach, the Service Club Park offers a quiet beach with interesting boardwalks that span saw palmettos. For a great family beach, head over to Nokomis Beach, one of the quietest beaches in Venice, offering a boat launch and calm waters. The beach at South Jetty is a popular surf spot. Meanwhile, dog lovers will appreciate the friendliest dog park in the state: Brohard Paw Park on Harbor Drive South. Just up the coast are Tampa Bay's beaches.

Planning Your Venice Vacation—Southwest Florida Beach Rentals

When you start planning your vacation, look into Southwest Florida beach rentals, with extra amenities that make a vacation truly more enjoyable. Also look into Venice condos, another affordable option. Instead of renting a cramped hotel room, vacation in style! Venice vacation rentals provide features that hotels do not such as a fully-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, or private pool, Jacuzzi, and personal chef service.
