  • Great villa and fabulous location

"We spent 2 weeks in this villa. It was exactly as described on the web. It was spacious and nice open plan living area, with kitchen, sitting area and conservatory area near pool. There was everything we needed in kitchen and good washing machine and tumble drier in garage which we used to park car. The location was perfect. Easy walking distance to lots of nice bistro style restaurants in w venice ave. it was in a very quiet street which was nice and very near to beach. The info sheet sent in advance was fabulous with lots of really good tips for the area and all the information we needed for the villa. The owner was very attentive and easy to contact. We had a minor problem with a window blind and my email was answered within an hour and the blind replaced the following day. Would definitely go back to this villa."

  • Great Condo and Vacation

"Thank you for sharing your home with us - we had a wonderful time at the condo - it was clean, comfortable (felt like home) and had everything we could possibly need. Jennifer was a pleasure to work with and quick to answer all my questions prior to our visit. We had breakfast in the lania watching the golfers, birds and even spotted an alligator on the pond's edge. We went to a different beach everyday (all are beautiful and each a little different). Downtown Venice is adorable with tons of restaurant choices - they had the Sun Festival when we were there for the weekend which was lots of fun with bands, food and vendors. We also went to Sharkey's (awesome sunsets), Crow's Nest (little more upscale), Pops (very casual) and Luna (delicious Italian) - all were a little different. We loved having the pool just a few steps from the condo and met several people (everyone is very friendly). We would highly recommend staying here - we liked Farmington Vistas so much that we ended up buying a place of our own."

  • 5 Star accomodation

"Having come from the UK, we stayed for a month at this wonderfully comfortable condo. It was a great position for all the amenities that Venice has to offer, and best of all so well equipped with everything one could possibly want, even down to lightweight deck chairs that we regularly took to the beach, we really didn't want for anything. Lovely friendly neighbours too! Would not hesitate to recommend this condo."

  • A great condo.

"I just spent the month of May in this great condo. It's close to every thing in Venice. The beds were wonderful and the leather furniture was very nice. We walked from the pool onto the beach which we loved. Setting on the screened deck we watched the sailboats in the gulf. It was just a great stay all around. I would recommend this condo to any one wanting a relaxing getaway,"

Venice Travel Tips

Venice Vacation Rentals for Beach Lovers

Southwest Florida has many vacation-worthy areas to offer beach lovers. Located in Sarasota County with a perfect year-round climate, Venice is one of the nicest spots in south Florida. And Venice vacation rentals, offering privacy, extra space and amenities, make a tropical getaway even nicer.

Venice Beaches

In addition to lovely beaches, Venice is known as the shark-tooth finding capital of Florida. More fossilized sharks teeth are found here than anywhere! The beaches in southwest Florida are numerous; if you are a beach-lover, make sure you allot plenty of time for exploring.

The longest and most secluded beach in Sarasota County is Casperson Beach, which has been left in its natural state rather than being commercialized. If you love to snorkel, the Venice Municipal Beach is the place to go, with a beautiful coral reef just one mile off shore. Just a short drive from the Municipal Beach, the Service Club Park offers a quiet beach with interesting boardwalks that span saw palmettos. For a great family beach, head over to Nokomis Beach, one of the quietest beaches in Venice, offering a boat launch and calm waters. The beach at South Jetty is a popular surf spot. Meanwhile, dog lovers will appreciate the friendliest dog park in the state: Brohard Paw Park on Harbor Drive South. Just up the coast are Tampa Bay's beaches.

Planning Your Venice Vacation—Southwest Florida Beach Rentals

When you start planning your vacation, look into Southwest Florida beach rentals, with extra amenities that make a vacation truly more enjoyable. Also look into Venice condos, another affordable option. Instead of renting a cramped hotel room, vacation in style! Venice vacation rentals provide features that hotels do not such as a fully-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, or private pool, Jacuzzi, and personal chef service.
