  • GREAT HOUSE !!! WONDERFUL WEEK !!!

"We just left the lake house after a wonderful week of fun and relaxation. We were anticipating a great week and it exceeded our expectations. The house was lovely, exceptionally clean and very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and makes meal planning a pleasure. So much so that we went out for one meal the entire week. Lots of space for sitting and relaxing especially on the inside and outside porches overlooking the lake. The house and yard are actually better than the photos depict. The grounds are beautiful with lots of shade trees. It is a very quiet neighborhood with lots of privacy. Great dock for fishing or swimming and docking a boat. We rented a pontoon boat and the slip is perfect. The owners are wonderful and very helpful. I would highly recommend their beautiful home. You will not be disappointed."

  • Absolutely the BEST house on Lake Oconee for a large family..... well worth the price!!!

"We just returned from this beautiful home on Lake Oconee and would give it 10 stars ...if we could! Let me start by saying.... it is a home... not a rental! This was the best stocked kitchen I have ever been in. Lots of silverware, plates and utensils, pans and cookie sheets and most importantly... refridgerator space! The pictures don't show all of the space that is in this awesome house; for example, there is a huge dining table with 12 chairs open to the kitchen as well as a tall bar table with 4 chairs all in the kitchen area. There was also a hidden toy room off of the upstairs TV room that simply had our 5 little ones (under 6 year olds) so in love with that they actually wanted to sleep in there. It was full of toys and so private from the other parts of the home that they played doll house for hours! The pool and spa were used all day ...every day! Lots of lounge chairs to sit around the pool to get sun and plenty of tables with umbrellas to get some shade! There was a large porch with an oversized glass table and large cushioned chairs and stools (which overlooked the lake) that was used every morning for coffee and at night for cards. It was simply fabulous! The owners were extremely helpful and checked on us frequently to make sure that they were no problems. I would highly recommend this property to multi generational families because there was so much space to spread out that no one ever felt crowded or couldn't find a quiet place to read! LOVE... LOVE ...LOVED IT!!"

  • Splendid cabin in peaceful setting

"I recommend this lovely cabin for anyone seeking a quiet and picturesque respite from city life and the routine of work. It is very close to Warm Springs and yet away from any hint of tourism. The cabin was very clean. It was well stocked with everything from good books, to pots and pans, dishes, coffee pot, plenty of nice silverware, soap, shampoo, linens, flashlight, binoculars, blankets, outdoor chairs on all decks, and a comfortable bed. The price was very reasonable. Close to another bigger cabin owned by same owner so it would be good for a family get together. I appreciate the care and attention given by the owner and the housekeeper which combined to make this one of our most memorable and pleasant getaways."

Get Away to Georgia Vacation Rentals

For a refreshing away-from-the-rat-race vacation, central southern Georgia is hard to beat. It is very easy to access, has warm sunny days for most of the year, and the beautiful natural scenery just begs to be explored and enjoyed. Renting a comfortable Pine Mountain log cabin or Lake Sinclair vacation rental in Georgia is the perfect escape for a weekend or longer, allowing visitors to completely relax and recharge their batteries.

Choosing Your Georgia Lodging

A log cabin or vacation home gives plenty of flexibility in both size and location. Choose a quiet retreat where you will not be disturbed by noisy neighbors in the next hotel room. Vacation rentals come in all sizes to suit couples, families or groups of friends on a budget sharing the accommodation. Set in popular locations for exploring the area, vacation homes have all the extras such as a fully equipped kitchen, an outdoor sitting area, books, games and more than one TV. They are ideal for those who want to prepare their own meals and follow their own timetable, getting up and eating when they choose to.

Things to do From Georgia Vacation Rentals

Southern central Georgia has plenty of historical and architectural sites for history-lovers to enjoy. There are many old homes and mansions, such as the Old Governor’s Mansion in Milledgeville which was home to 10 Georgian governors and became Sherman’s headquarters during the Civil War. History-lovers will also enjoy a trip to Meadow Gardens in Augusta, the former home of George Walton, the youngest signatory on the Declaration of Independence. The area has many theaters and arts venues, including the Douglass Theater at Macon. Visit the State Botanical Gardens of Georgia on the outskirts of Athens or simply head out on an adventure of your own in the Oconee National Forest.

Kayaking, boating, waterskiing, wildlife viewing, fishing, rock climbing, biking, swimming and plenty of golf courses are all close to your Georgia lodging.
