  • Truly great find!

"It was absolutely perfect. The size was great for the two of us. The condo was beautifully decorated and offered everything we needed. Thoughtful little things like a stereo to dock with our ipods, coffee filters already in the cabinet and helpful dining recommendations really made us feel welcome. It was also wonderful to have no hassle parking right in the heart of Midtown. We will most certainly make reservations with you again next time we come to Atlanta. This weekend was everything we wanted it to be and the condo was a big part of that."

  • Just what we needed!

"We reserved this unit the day be before we arrived in Atlanta. Micheal and his wife were extremely helpful and very patient with is renting this unit. The unit looks exactly as it did online. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and this unit provided us with the cozy, homey, yet intimate feeling. The breeze from the balcony at night and early in the morning was great! Also, the balcony is screened in so we didn't have to worry about mosquitos or other insects. The unit was close to everything so we didn't have to drive very much. I will definitely recommend this unit to family/friends and will rent this unit again for future visits!"

  • Relaxing week with the family

"We stayed in this lovely house in late July. We had six adults and two preschoolers and three other adults joined us for the last two nights of our stay. Everyone had bedrooms. The house was lovely, roomy, well equipped and perfect for a week away with loved ones. Our preschoolers loved the bunk beds, and I will forever have the memory of family members floating by the dock, boating around the lake, riding on jet skis (both were rented), enjoying some family dinners at the house and going out for other dinners, (one which we drove our boat to), and just having time to reconnect. We drove about 850 miles to get to Lake Oconee, and we'd do it again. The men golfed, the women spent a day getting pampered, and all of us had a wonderful time. One thing-bring cards and board games!"

  • Peaceful, calming retreat

"Four us of stayed here during our trip to the 2013 Masters. It is a very large home that is well appointed. The home is secluded on a private drive overlooking a small lake. It is quiet and very close to Lake Strom Thurmond. The drive to Augusta is about 45 minutes each way, which limited some of our after hours activities. However, if you're looking for a peaceful retreat at the end of a day this is your place. I could also see this being a great landing spot for a fishing trip to the lake."

Metro Atlanta, Central & Southern Travel Tips

Get Away to Georgia Vacation Rentals

For a refreshing away-from-the-rat-race vacation, central southern Georgia is hard to beat. It is very easy to access, has warm sunny days for most of the year, and the beautiful natural scenery just begs to be explored and enjoyed. Renting a comfortable Pine Mountain log cabin or Lake Sinclair vacation rental in Georgia is the perfect escape for a weekend or longer, allowing visitors to completely relax and recharge their batteries.

Choosing Your Georgia Lodging

A log cabin or vacation home gives plenty of flexibility in both size and location. Choose a quiet retreat where you will not be disturbed by noisy neighbors in the next hotel room. Vacation rentals come in all sizes to suit couples, families or groups of friends on a budget sharing the accommodation. Set in popular locations for exploring the area, vacation homes have all the extras such as a fully equipped kitchen, an outdoor sitting area, books, games and more than one TV. They are ideal for those who want to prepare their own meals and follow their own timetable, getting up and eating when they choose to.

Things to do From Georgia Vacation Rentals

Southern central Georgia has plenty of historical and architectural sites for history-lovers to enjoy. There are many old homes and mansions, such as the Old Governor’s Mansion in Milledgeville which was home to 10 Georgian governors and became Sherman’s headquarters during the Civil War. History-lovers will also enjoy a trip to Meadow Gardens in Augusta, the former home of George Walton, the youngest signatory on the Declaration of Independence. The area has many theaters and arts venues, including the Douglass Theater at Macon. Visit the State Botanical Gardens of Georgia on the outskirts of Athens or simply head out on an adventure of your own in the Oconee National Forest.

Kayaking, boating, waterskiing, wildlife viewing, fishing, rock climbing, biking, swimming and plenty of golf courses are all close to your Georgia lodging.
