  • Home in Atlanta

"I stayed in Jim's home for 6 months while working on a film project in Atlanta. It was my home away from home. There wasn't anything I needed or wanted during my stay. Jim made my stay perfect. Great location, close to everything."

  • Beautiful Lake House

"We just returned from Lake Sinclair and this house was PERFECT. We were so pleased when we arrived and saw the house. The pictures don't do this house, yard, or dock justice. It is really beautiful. The owners were so great to work with and allowed us to have a dinner party for our friends who got married the next day. We did everything outside and the property was ideal everyone commented on how beautiful it was. Thanks for sharing your home. We hope to come back sometime in the future."

  • Masters Week

"I have a home in Reynolds, but was looking for an additional home to rent during Masters week. Our guests loved the home and the views of the Plantation GC. Louise was great to deal with....we were allowed to get into the home early on the first day so we could get things set up for our guests. We'll certainly rent this home again if we need the extra space!"

  • Relaxing retreat

"We loved our stay at Brooks Pond House. I would recommend this property to anyone. It was very child friendly and had plenty of activities to keep the children occupied, especially the pedal boat, it was a huge hit with the kids. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat, this is it. The grounds are beautiful and sitting out on the dock in the mornings was so tranquil that you could feel your whole body relax. The children enjoyed the fishing, the birds were beautiful, we saw several turtles and even caught a glimpse of an otter. The house is large, comfortable and everything we needed was there. I really liked that the layout of this house provides for more privacy if you had several families staying together. I could get up at night and not worry about disturbing anyone else in the house. Rebecca made the reservation process very simple and was great at answering all my many questions. We will definitely come back again!"

Metro Atlanta, Central & Southern Travel Tips

Get Away to Georgia Vacation Rentals

For a refreshing away-from-the-rat-race vacation, central southern Georgia is hard to beat. It is very easy to access, has warm sunny days for most of the year, and the beautiful natural scenery just begs to be explored and enjoyed. Renting a comfortable Pine Mountain log cabin or Lake Sinclair vacation rental in Georgia is the perfect escape for a weekend or longer, allowing visitors to completely relax and recharge their batteries.

Choosing Your Georgia Lodging

A log cabin or vacation home gives plenty of flexibility in both size and location. Choose a quiet retreat where you will not be disturbed by noisy neighbors in the next hotel room. Vacation rentals come in all sizes to suit couples, families or groups of friends on a budget sharing the accommodation. Set in popular locations for exploring the area, vacation homes have all the extras such as a fully equipped kitchen, an outdoor sitting area, books, games and more than one TV. They are ideal for those who want to prepare their own meals and follow their own timetable, getting up and eating when they choose to.

Things to do From Georgia Vacation Rentals

Southern central Georgia has plenty of historical and architectural sites for history-lovers to enjoy. There are many old homes and mansions, such as the Old Governor’s Mansion in Milledgeville which was home to 10 Georgian governors and became Sherman’s headquarters during the Civil War. History-lovers will also enjoy a trip to Meadow Gardens in Augusta, the former home of George Walton, the youngest signatory on the Declaration of Independence. The area has many theaters and arts venues, including the Douglass Theater at Macon. Visit the State Botanical Gardens of Georgia on the outskirts of Athens or simply head out on an adventure of your own in the Oconee National Forest.

Kayaking, boating, waterskiing, wildlife viewing, fishing, rock climbing, biking, swimming and plenty of golf courses are all close to your Georgia lodging.
