  • Gorgeous exquisitely decorated golf course home in Cuscowilla

"My family enjoyed this home for a weekend get-a-way while I attended a meeting at the nearby Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynold's Plantation. We visit Lake Oconee at least once per year and have stayed on property at the Ritz and at other rentals, and this was BY FAR the nicest, most spacious and well appointed property we've encountered. Every room is fully decorated and furnished with quality pieces, and the decorator touches throughout are remarkable. The indoor gourmet kitchen is matched by the vented outdoor grilling station under the covered patio, across from the outdoor fireplace capping the other end. The owner's suite is beautiful and has its own fireplace, and the body jets in the shower were a favorite! With plenty of space for four adults and three kids (we never felt crowded), this property is a gem inside and out. Considering its reasonable price for the potential five bedrooms (the office has doors, a pull-out sofa, and private full bath), if this property is available, this will definitely be our future Lake Oconee choice!"

  • Relaxing retreat

"We loved our stay at Brooks Pond House. I would recommend this property to anyone. It was very child friendly and had plenty of activities to keep the children occupied, especially the pedal boat, it was a huge hit with the kids. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat, this is it. The grounds are beautiful and sitting out on the dock in the mornings was so tranquil that you could feel your whole body relax. The children enjoyed the fishing, the birds were beautiful, we saw several turtles and even caught a glimpse of an otter. The house is large, comfortable and everything we needed was there. I really liked that the layout of this house provides for more privacy if you had several families staying together. I could get up at night and not worry about disturbing anyone else in the house. Rebecca made the reservation process very simple and was great at answering all my many questions. We will definitely come back again!"

  • A Perfect Labor Day Holiday

"My husband and I stayed at Serenity for the Labor Day holiday week. It was everything we hoped it would be. The house is beautifully appointed, there is plenty of room for family to visit, the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms great and the kitchen well stocked with dishes, silverware and pots and pans. There is a television in the great room and one in the HUGE master bedroom both have Direct TV. There is a strong wireless signal that easily accommodated 6 Ipads over the weekend. The lake is beyond beautiful and this house is in a quiet area of the lake so you can swim without worrying about a lot of boat and jet ski traffic. It is a little bit of a drive to the grocery store, so you may want to pick up something on the way in. All in all, we were very pleased with the house and hope to vacation there again next year."

Get Away to Georgia Vacation Rentals

For a refreshing away-from-the-rat-race vacation, central southern Georgia is hard to beat. It is very easy to access, has warm sunny days for most of the year, and the beautiful natural scenery just begs to be explored and enjoyed. Renting a comfortable Pine Mountain log cabin or Lake Sinclair vacation rental in Georgia is the perfect escape for a weekend or longer, allowing visitors to completely relax and recharge their batteries.

Choosing Your Georgia Lodging

A log cabin or vacation home gives plenty of flexibility in both size and location. Choose a quiet retreat where you will not be disturbed by noisy neighbors in the next hotel room. Vacation rentals come in all sizes to suit couples, families or groups of friends on a budget sharing the accommodation. Set in popular locations for exploring the area, vacation homes have all the extras such as a fully equipped kitchen, an outdoor sitting area, books, games and more than one TV. They are ideal for those who want to prepare their own meals and follow their own timetable, getting up and eating when they choose to.

Things to do From Georgia Vacation Rentals

Southern central Georgia has plenty of historical and architectural sites for history-lovers to enjoy. There are many old homes and mansions, such as the Old Governor’s Mansion in Milledgeville which was home to 10 Georgian governors and became Sherman’s headquarters during the Civil War. The area has many theaters and arts venues, including the Douglass Theater at Macon. Visit the State Botanical Gardens of Georgia on the outskirts of Athens or simply head out on an adventure of your own in the Oconee National Forest.

Kayaking, boating, waterskiing, wildlife viewing, fishing, rock climbing, biking, swimming and plenty of golf courses are all close to your Georgia lodging.
