"This was more than a "lake house" - it was truly a "lake home" with the emphasis on HOME. Upon our arrival, the home was spotless, well maintained, and the extra little amenities like the courtesy flip-flops, fussball table, fishing poles, kitchen supplies, etc. made everything perfect. Clearly, a lot of care and thought went into furnishing this home for guests. Our gathering consisted of a few families and several Georgia College graduates and their friends that had all come together to celebrate memories of their four years together. They were all now going out into life on their own. Lots of fun, lots of reminiscing as well as laughter and tears happened this weekend. It was the absolutely perfect setting...the ambience was peaceful, calm and serene. This lake home was large, comfortable and homey. Everyone could have their own spot if they wanted. Two decks with lots of outdoor furniture, upstairs and downstairs living spaces, and the dock with chairs and inflatables. Even a blackboard wall where everyone left personal and funny messages for each other! The goal of our weekend was to make a final lasting memory into the lives of these young people as they begin "real life". We were definitely able to accomplish it thanks to the "home on the lake". I can't give this home high enough ratings. I certainly hope that we can someday return for another reunion in the future."Guest: Debbie Linton Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: May 13, 2014View listing

"With three families including five grandkids, it is hard to find the perfect place to gather, this home is it. We put the four older grandkids in the upstairs lakeview room with the adjoining bunk room, it worked perfect. The three couples each had their own bedroom, nice. We taught the grandkids how to play ping-pong and how to play billiards, including how to bank shots. The dock with the slide really was the highlight of our time together, that slide was so much fun. The dining room sat all ten of us after we moved the game table next to the dining table, plenty of room. The kitchen had everything that was needed. We will come back again."Guest: Papa Mickey Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 2, 2014View listing
"Home is nestled in the woods until you reach the small neighborhood. Neighbors are near but just far away enough to forget about them. The home lightly decorated isn't too bad for small children. Watch out for deer, they are every where. A great place for nature watching. Be sure to bring everything you need, a store is about 30 min one way. Loved the back yard . My family spent most of our time outside (pictures are accurate). Bare minimum in cleaning kitchen supply. Be sure to bring paper towels/ napkins, dish washing liquid and extra wash cloths. Kitchen cookware were bountiful. Overall it is a place from all the hustle and bustle just what a family needs for vacation."Guest: Anonymous Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 25, 2014View listing
