"I recently stayed in this lovely house for two nights with my sister-in-law. The house is just perfect….nestled in the historic Virginia Highland neighborhood which is a walker’s delight, the house is just a short distance from unique cafes, restaurants, and shops while still being in town. The owner has furnished the house with great care and taste. We had everything we needed and felt total comfort and peace while there. We hope to stay for a longer visit next time. Highly recommend!"

"Where to start! My family and my brother's family had this wonderful home for the week of Juy 4th. The home is large enough that family members can be together, or if someone needs a little quiet time, that is possible, too. The upstairs covered deck is right outside the dining area, making for a very convenient outdoor place to eat. The two living area were awesome, the kids/teen agers claimed the downstairs. The upper living area was the quieter hang out. The home is close enough to Milledgeville to make runs to the store as needed. We had jet skis with us and the shallow area at the sea wall was perfect for those and for the smaller kids to play in the water while the covered portion of the boathouse was a favorite fishing spot. We spent a lot of time on floats just chilling out! It was cool to have a couple of neighborhood dogs hang around chilling with us, too! They even barked - only if someone pulled into the driveway!"

"We loved our stay at Brooks Pond House. I would recommend this property to anyone. It was very child friendly and had plenty of activities to keep the children occupied, especially the pedal boat, it was a huge hit with the kids.
If you are looking for a peaceful retreat, this is it. The grounds are beautiful and sitting out on the dock in the mornings was so tranquil that you could feel your whole body relax.
The children enjoyed the fishing, the birds were beautiful, we saw several turtles and even caught a glimpse of an otter.
The house is large, comfortable and everything we needed was there. I really liked that the layout of this house provides for more privacy if you had several families staying together. I could get up at night and not worry about disturbing anyone else in the house.
Rebecca made the reservation process very simple and was great at answering all my many questions.
We will definitely come back again!"

"This is a great home! Our family of 10 was very comfortable due to the spacious layout. The home was very clean and the screened in porch was awesome. There was plenty of seating on the screened porch, and the weather was nice enough to enjoy a few meals there. The owners are great to work with, and promptly responded to all email and phone calls. I would definitely recommend this house."
