  • Can't be beat

"Simply put, this is an incredible home on an even better piece of real estate. A small group of professionals rented this home for a short boys golf weekend. The home is beautifully decorated and the property is gorgeous. It sits on a mini peninsula in a quiet cove across from Great Waters. I'm a member of Reynolds and have a boat on the lake. We were able to dock our boat right at the home and enjoy it whenever we felt like a short cruise. So, everything we could have dreamed of was right at our finger tips. If you aren't connected to Reynolds, Steve, the owner is a wonderful guy and very willing to help with any arrangements. Having rented lots of properties and being VERY familiar with Reynolds, you can take my word that you will almost certainly not find a better spot for the money. My only hesitancy in writing this review is I don't want a lot of competition the next time we rent it!!!! Because we will certainly be back again and again! Thanks again, Steve!"

  • Perfect Get Awaay

"This lake house is a perfect place to get away for a few days to relax and reconnect. My kids loved swimming in the lake and I enjoyed the covered deck to relax in the mornings and evenings. The house is very spacious and well furnished with everything we needed to cook and grill-out. I loved our stay and hopefully will be back next summer!"

  • Absolutely the BEST house on Lake Oconee for a large family..... well worth the price!!!

"We just returned from this beautiful home on Lake Oconee and would give it 10 stars ...if we could! Let me start by saying.... it is a home... not a rental! This was the best stocked kitchen I have ever been in. Lots of silverware, plates and utensils, pans and cookie sheets and most importantly... refridgerator space! The pictures don't show all of the space that is in this awesome house; for example, there is a huge dining table with 12 chairs open to the kitchen as well as a tall bar table with 4 chairs all in the kitchen area. There was also a hidden toy room off of the upstairs TV room that simply had our 5 little ones (under 6 year olds) so in love with that they actually wanted to sleep in there. It was full of toys and so private from the other parts of the home that they played doll house for hours! The pool and spa were used all day ...every day! Lots of lounge chairs to sit around the pool to get sun and plenty of tables with umbrellas to get some shade! There was a large porch with an oversized glass table and large cushioned chairs and stools (which overlooked the lake) that was used every morning for coffee and at night for cards. It was simply fabulous! The owners were extremely helpful and checked on us frequently to make sure that they were no problems. I would highly recommend this property to multi generational families because there was so much space to spread out that no one ever felt crowded or couldn't find a quiet place to read! LOVE... LOVE ...LOVED IT!!"

  • Relaxing week with the family

"We stayed in this lovely house in late July. We had six adults and two preschoolers and three other adults joined us for the last two nights of our stay. Everyone had bedrooms. The house was lovely, roomy, well equipped and perfect for a week away with loved ones. Our preschoolers loved the bunk beds, and I will forever have the memory of family members floating by the dock, boating around the lake, riding on jet skis (both were rented), enjoying some family dinners at the house and going out for other dinners, (one which we drove our boat to), and just having time to reconnect. We drove about 850 miles to get to Lake Oconee, and we'd do it again. The men golfed, the women spent a day getting pampered, and all of us had a wonderful time. One thing-bring cards and board games!"

Greensboro Travel Tips

Greensboro Vacation Rentals: Discover Peace Again

Along the eastern curve of Georgia, settled between forest miles and flat fields, is Greensboro. This small town is laced to history and natural wonder, marking it a family location. And travelers seeking solace from their city distractions will find their much wanted peace. This is not a wild adventure. Instead it is a quiet pleasure. And Greensboro vacation rentals will offer relaxation to any who need it.

Greensboro Lake Homes: Serenity Found

Wake each morning to southern beauty and affordability. With Lake Oconee cottages, you can have the perfection of water without the worry of cost. Let Georgia thrill you with its warm summers and slow pace; and let each cabin satisfy with its excess of rooms and budget-wary style. You won't spend your vacation fretting over the price. You will simply enjoy yourself. And that's tranquility.

Lake Oconee Cottages: Explore the Miles

Journey from Greensboro lake homes and discover all that sits beyond. Visit the Reynolds Plantation and sample seven world-class golf courses; each tailored to the rise and fall of mountains and their peaks. Drive then to nearby Oconee National Forest and hike through the acres of pine paths (or, for hunters, there are months when you are permitted to indulge in your favorite sport. Proper precautions must be taken, though). Seek the past with the A.H. Stephens Historic Park; which features a Civil War museum, picnic areas and Confederate trails. Let the kids enjoy the Southland Jubilee Festival, which offers games, prizes and more. And then end the day with a sunset cruise around Lake Oconee itself. Breathless views and romance await.

Greensboro Vacation Rentals: Simply Simple

You don't need the fast pace and faster crowds of a city. You don't need the struggles of a hotel. You just need Greensboro lake homes and the ease they bring.
