Ideal for a relaxing getaway!!!!
"This home on Lake Oconee has a great view of both water and golf....doesn't get much better than that!!! We had a family reunion here over Memorial Day and the house was clean, well equipped and beautiful!!! Lots of great space for playing games at night with two big common areas. We brought our boat, dock was in good shape and worked out well. Great deck with lots of seating overlooking gorgeous view. Really ideal for family gatherings, I would go back for sure!!!"

"Oh my goodness. Where to begin? This home is absolutely perfect! It was beyond our already high expectations. It is gorgeous and the pictures do not do it justice. Beautiful grounds, beautiful interior.
We had a group of 37 for our family reunion and we never felt crowded. There were so many places to hang out. All the kids found something to do and we never once heard the words, "I'm bored". I'm sure I'll miss a few but here are some of the things we found to do...pool table, pinball machine, Golf arcade game, movie theater, pool, zipline, basketball court, tubing behind the pontoon boat, fishing, climbing the tree house, and swinging on the swing and hammock. We set up cornhole, canjam, jarts, kickball in the huge yard and in the shade of the majestic tree. With 10 bedrooms each with its own bathroom all the families had the space they needed. For the older members of our family, they found great shopping in Madison and Greensboro. Cute antique shops and yummy restaurants. Athens is only 45 minutes away as well. All 37 of us had dinner at the Yesterday Cafe in Greensboro and the manager, Chris, was wonderful in accommodating our large group. Delicious food too! The owners of Da Casa Banana 2, Jim and Deeny, were fabulous from start to finish. They answered all our questions and we kind and helpful along the way. We can't say enough about how wonderful our vacation was. We are all already homesick for the "Banana" and plan to return. Best spot ever! Thank you Jim and Deeny for providing us the perfect place for our family memories."

Absolutely the BEST house on Lake Oconee for a large family..... well worth the price!!!
"We just returned from this beautiful home on Lake Oconee and would give it 10 stars ...if we could! Let me start by saying.... it is a home... not a rental! This was the best stocked kitchen I have ever been in. Lots of silverware, plates and utensils, pans and cookie sheets and most importantly... refridgerator space! The pictures don't show all of the space that is in this awesome house; for example, there is a huge dining table with 12 chairs open to the kitchen as well as a tall bar table with 4 chairs all in the kitchen area. There was also a hidden toy room off of the upstairs TV room that simply had our 5 little ones (under 6 year olds) so in love with that they actually wanted to sleep in there. It was full of toys and so private from the other parts of the home that they played doll house for hours! The pool and spa were used all day ...every day! Lots of lounge chairs to sit around the pool to get sun and plenty of tables with umbrellas to get some shade! There was a large porch with an oversized glass table and large cushioned chairs and stools (which overlooked the lake) that was used every morning for coffee and at night for cards. It was simply fabulous! The owners were extremely helpful and checked on us frequently to make sure that they were no problems. I would highly recommend this property to multi generational families because there was so much space to spread out that no one ever felt crowded or couldn't find a quiet place to read! LOVE... LOVE ...LOVED IT!!"

""Chinsegut" (you have to stay here to discover the meaning of this word!) was a wonderful spot for us to celebrate Thanksgiving. There were 6 adults and 6 children...plenty of space for all of us. The house is well-equipped to prepare meals for a crowd and ample room to spread out for various activities. The setting is beautiful...lovely wooded area with lake at the bottom of the hill. We enjoyed the fireplace in the main room and the the fire stove on the deck by the lake. The location is excellent for exploring the area. We enjoyed day trips to Greensboro and Madison. But most of all was the time we had to reconnect as a family at this beautiful spot. Thanks Amanda for your prompt attention to our questions and to your family for sharing their home."
