  • Home Away From Home.....LITERALLY!!!

"The owner didn't exaggerate when he said we were going to love this house. This was a last minute decision for the holiday weekend and he was so helpful and responsive to my request, he made it happen for my family and friends. The listing is accurate including the pictures. In fact, the pictures help but seeing it in person is a different story! This house was everything I expected and more...clean, comfortable and very spacious!!! The mattresses were so comfortable I almost didn't want to get out of bed...LOL! I loved that we were in walking distance to the pool. Stores were only a few miles away if you needed groceries. I could go on and on about this property...it's something you need to experience for yourself! My family and I are definitely looking forward to going back soon!!"

  • Absolutely the BEST house on Lake Oconee for a large family..... well worth the price!!!

"We just returned from this beautiful home on Lake Oconee and would give it 10 stars ...if we could! Let me start by saying.... it is a home... not a rental! This was the best stocked kitchen I have ever been in. Lots of silverware, plates and utensils, pans and cookie sheets and most importantly... refridgerator space! The pictures don't show all of the space that is in this awesome house; for example, there is a huge dining table with 12 chairs open to the kitchen as well as a tall bar table with 4 chairs all in the kitchen area. There was also a hidden toy room off of the upstairs TV room that simply had our 5 little ones (under 6 year olds) so in love with that they actually wanted to sleep in there. It was full of toys and so private from the other parts of the home that they played doll house for hours! The pool and spa were used all day ...every day! Lots of lounge chairs to sit around the pool to get sun and plenty of tables with umbrellas to get some shade! There was a large porch with an oversized glass table and large cushioned chairs and stools (which overlooked the lake) that was used every morning for coffee and at night for cards. It was simply fabulous! The owners were extremely helpful and checked on us frequently to make sure that they were no problems. I would highly recommend this property to multi generational families because there was so much space to spread out that no one ever felt crowded or couldn't find a quiet place to read! LOVE... LOVE ...LOVED IT!!"

  • Thanksgiving

"What a lovely home! The location on the golf course made it even nicer. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils which made it easy to fix Thanksgiving dinner. We enjoyed the strolls around the lake and neighborhood. All the board games and cards kept our 6-year old entertained. Would definitely enjoy a return visit, especially when the weather is warmer."

  • Let's Go Golfing

"Our goal was to enjoy a house in a golf community with access to golf courses and clubhouse privileges . And to escape Chicago's snowy winter. Reynold's Plantation fit the bill perfectly. There are a variety of courses to accommodate social players and highly accomplished. They are all beautiful with views of Lake Oconee. The meals we enjoyed were well prepared and reasonably priced. The house itself was wonderful. Nicely furnished, huge kitchen, nice screened in porch, comfortable bed, I loved the walk-in closet, nice living room with fireplace. The downstairs was perfect for my daughter and her husband, like their own apartment. Fun to have the pool table and game table, never got to a ping pong match. The only downside for me was the lake was down a hill that I could not navigate, but the view was pretty. The weather really was too chilly for lake activities. A very nice property."
