"This was our first time on Lake Oconee, and loved it. Family came from all over the country and all were very impressed by the house and lake. The kids played from morning to night on the dock jumping in the water. We rented a pontoon boat from Tommy's Pontoons, the boat was really nice however, its a bit of a drive. We also rented a ski boat from Twin lakes rental. Advid family skiers / wake boarders were not impressed by the boat. We brought our wave runners and put them in just up the road from the house. The house is three levels and much larger and roomier than pictures show. The downstairs is a very large living room that you dont see in the pics. There is also a laundry room down there. My only suggestive would be that the owners make a list of things that are available at the home. Such as kitchen items and iron and TV possiblities for those that are not on the water all day. If I would have know I would not have traveled with my iron and hand mixer... Also, I was told the kayaks are not for guest use which was disappointing to many family memebers because they saw the pic of it and thought they could use it. Plan on making a 20-30 minute trip to get to publix or anywhere for that matter. We took a day trip to Milledgeville which was a small college town with some antique stores. We stopped in at the welcome center in town and did a tour of the Govenors House. There is a trolly tour but it only has one tour a day at 10 am in the morning, so we missed it, but enjoyed the walk around town looking at the older homes. The lake house is not recommended for anyone that can't use stairs. Other than that We really enjoyed our stay in this home and look forward to going back! BTW the Ritz Carlton is a great place to dock your boat and enjoy the pool bar, drinks were great and lunch look good too."

"This was our 2nd year at this lovely Great Waters lake cottage. After staying for the winter holiday period last year we decided to return for the holidays this year and stay through June, 2015. It was a wonderful home for us during that time. While we spent most of our time enjoying the home, we also used it as a base as we visited family in Atlanta on many occasions and also traveled to North Florida several times to visit friends. It was also a perfect home for us to entertain our family and friends on several occasions. The cottage itself is very comfortable and the surrounding amenities, including the lake, tennis court, pool and golf course added everything we needed during our stay. We also enjoyed many Friday evenings at the clubhouse for complimentary appetizers and happy hour priced drinks. We highly recommend the home to couples, families and small groups of friends. You won't be disappointed. Bruce was available the few times we called during our stay and responded to our needs immediately.."

"We were looking for a place in downtown Atlanta that was close to the Marta and also the Georgia World Congress Center. This place fit the bill perfectly. The Marta was a 5 min walk and the GWCC was 10 mins walking or you could also jump on the Marta. There are also plenty of dining options nearby. The condo was clean and roomy. It also has a nice balcony. I was surprised at how fast the elevators were, it took about 5 seconds to reach the 11th floor. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a place downtown that is reasonably priced."

"This home fit our needs exactly. A perfect quiet getaway in the woods and only a short walk from the water. The living room and kitchen area is charming and rustic, the master bdrm is very large and open. There is a loft area with two double beds. It does not have a dishwasher but we did not care about that.
It has a large dock on a quiet cove of the lake, it was perfect for our kayaks and fishing and swimming! Even though it rained often, it was still awesome to be able to just walk right out the door and be on the lake kayaking."
