"Our experience here was amazing. With such a large group the kitchen and grounds were perfect for our needs. Everyone had an excellent time between fishing, playing lawn games, and napping in the warm spring air. The pavilion was the perfect place for events with everyone where we could have enough room to serve dinner and dance. The massive property is close to Greensboro and Lake Oconee for fun relaxing day trips off the property."

"Our family stayed for 2 nights to do some fishing and just get away. The house was great, clean, and the layout of the house gave plenty of room for everyone without that feeling of being smothered. The views were beautiful. We took our fishing boat, however, fishing from the dock was a lot of fun for the young & old alike; after dark we put lanterns out & fished way into the night; wasn't catching many fish, but, the memories made with the kids will last a lifetime....Priceless!!! We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and serenity of the lake and house. It was just absolutely wonderful...."

"We chose this spot because we originally planned on going to Savannah, but it was too expensive for our family of 7.
Pros: easy access from northern states, taking 75 south
- quiet lake with nice dock
-the kids loved the kayaks
-lake suitable for swimming!
Nuances- the oven temperature was hit or miss, so we preferred to use the stove. I wouldn't recommend this gone for toddlers. The stairway isn't safe without constant supervision of little ones but it was fine for our kids, 6 and up. The washing machine sometimes took forever to fill up and would just drip instead of fill with water. The wi-fi is better than nothing but not good for streaming video. The house does have a DVD Player. There's plenty of dishes and a coffee maker. The bathrooms are spacious and clean and the beds are comfortable. We had 7 people, but one had to sleep on the couch. Which he didn't mind. One bedroom has a door, and the others don't, so kids had to respect the privacy of others.
We were a little concerned driving in because there were a lot of run down properties nearby, but the house was nice and well taken care of. Some overgrown brush. But pretty clear walkways. We were a little weirded out by the Old Testament bible verses posted on the roads that were referred to "wicked ways", but didn't encounter anyone who was judgemental or rude. The caretaker was friendly and helped remove our trash.
Town is 8 miles away and has everything you need and a small movie theatre. Other day trips are generally about two hours.
Overall it was a pleasant trip for our blended family to spend time together. Jump off the dock or float in the lake on a raft!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our Reynolds Plantation family vacation. We had ages from 12 to 91 and it was fun for all. The house was very pleasing. Our family loves to cook and gather for meals. The kitchen was perfect for multiple chefs, food tasters and even for ease in cleaning up. Loved the two dishwashers. Reynolds provided lots of recreation on the lake, on the links and active walks. Nancy was very supportive in facilitating our visit and logistics for our activities. Thank you.
